Karan's pov

Ohh so she is on her periods. Uff I was getting soo worried. But periods are still painful.

I went near her and sat on the bed. I caressed her hairs and she snuggled into me.

I felt shocked but then chuckled. I feel soo happy that she is cuddling me.

I noticed nandini standing near the door and staring at us with no emotions.

I started to feel awkward and slowly got up from the bed after smiling at Ridhima.

"Thank you for having me over. I should get going." I said and started to leave.

"You can wait for her to wake up if you want. She won't feel good if she got to know you left without meeting her. It's your choice tho." She said making me stop in my tracks.

She has got a point. I don't want to upset Ridhima. And anyway even I wanted to check on her.

"Yeah I can wait for some time." I said and she gave a small smile.

I sat on the sofa and checked the watch. Honestly I don't care what the time is I can wait for her the whole day.

Nandini went into the kitchen and started making pasta. I feel soo hungry. I didn't even eat my lunch.

She noticed me staring at the pasta and ignored me. Wth dude can't she offer me some?.

I tried to look away but the smell was so freaking delicious. I looked at it again and I gave up.

"Can I have some. I didn't have my lunch." I finally said.

She thought for some time and then nodded slightly. It just amazes me how different she and gauri di are.

She continued making the pasta. She suddenly spoke "You like her don't you?".

I chocked on air due to the sudden shock. How does she know?

I noodded slowly while looking at her suspiciously.

"Don't look at me like that. You both are soo freaking obvious. Anyone can tell that you like her. Even gauri di knows." She said non - chalantly.

Am I too that obvious. I thought I was doing a good job at hiding my emotions.

"Ohh." Was the only thing I could say.

"Is it just like or love? Will you keep her happy? Are you even serious or is it just a timepass? Will you marry her? Will you defend her when she will be called names for dating you?" She asked in anger.

At first I was shocked at her sudden outburst. But then I realised that she is just protective of her friend.

"I cant really say if it's like or love but what I can say for sure is that this is definitely not a timepass. It is a very divine and magical feeling which I feel honoured to experience. I will always keep her before me no matter what."

I said confidently and genuinely.

"I will never let her get insulted only because she dates me. If I even see anyone looking at her in a disrespectful way then they are fucking dead."

I said getting angry even at the thought of someone disrespecting her.

"About marriage, I don't know what the future holds for us but I can surely say is that the only women I think of about marrying is Ridhima."

She looked at me with no emotions and then started serving the pasta.

Seriously no effect?. Does she not believe me?.

"She loves painting and her favourite flowers are lavender flowers." She said not looking at me.

"Huh?" I asked confused. Is she helping me to ask her out?

"You can take her on a date with all these ideas." she said while eating the pasta.

A smile slowly started appearing on my face. I am gonna ask her out tomorrow.

Nandini isn't bad I guess. She is cold and terrifying but still helpful.

"But remember one thing, one tear from her eyes and you are dead." she said glaring at me.

"Don't worry and thank you." I said feeling happy.

She just nodded and kept eating.

You know what. After all this, It is clear to me. I love Ridhima.

Ridhima's pov

I woke up to the smell of delicious pasta. Even tho my stomach hurts a lot I am very hungry right now.

I got up wore my hair in a messy pony tail and went out.

"Nandini I am also hung-" I stopped in my tracks seeing Karan.

He was standing near the sofa thinking about something deeply while nandini was busy eating.

They both looked at me when they heard my voice. During my periods I don't think before doing something.

I quickly ran to him and hugged him. He responded back and hugged me tightly.

"How are you feeling sweetheart? Is your stomach still paining?" He asked while still hugging me.

"Yes it is still hurting and I am not feeling okay but after seeing you I feel great." I said smiling while breaking the hug.

He too smiled back and we stood there like that until the smell of pasta hit my nostrils again.

"Here is your pasta. You both come and eat." Nandini said and I immediately ran to her.

He chuckled at me and stood there for some time before going to wash hands in the kitchen.

"So nandini ji?" I wishpered in her ears.

"Approved." she said with an expressionless face.

I hugged her with a grin and her lips broke into a big smile.
