32. A trip to paris

Ridhima's pov

"Your packing is done sweetheart." He said zipping up my suitcase.

"Thank you soo much Karan." I said with a smile.

I had no idea what clothes to pack for the trip. So I called him for help and him being a gentleman agreed.

Apparently we are going there for almost 3 - 4 days. I called chacha ji to inform him about this.

Chacha ji was a little worried about me going to Europe but he still agreed because he believes in me.

Nandini and gauri di are very happy for me.

"Your welcome baby. Are you ready to go? We need to leave for the airport now." He asked checking the watch on his wrist.

"Yes I am ready. Let's go" I said with a nervous smile.

"I promise it is gonna be a very amazing and memorable trip... 'business trip'." He said looking at me promisingly.

I don't know why but my mind is thinking about something else and its giving me hopes. He gave a quick peck to me on the lips.

I smiled at him and nodded. Then we both bid goodbye to di and nandu before praying in the temple.

We said bye to his parents on phone itself as they were busy in a wedding function.

We sat in the car and drove to airport. We checked in and now we're going to board the plane.

I took a nervous breath as we were walking together side by side holding hands, towards the plane.

"It's okay baby. Don't worry about anything. I will take care of you and protect you there. And as for going on the plane for the first time. It's gonna be amazing." He said assuring me with a smile.

I smiled back at him. I feel a lot better after listening to his words. I feel like he is a full time CEO as well as my full time therapist.

We boarded the plane and sat on our seats. Our seats were right next to each other. He gave me the window seat. Soooo sweet...



He booked first class tickets for both of us. I took a look around the plane as I was seeing it for the first time.

Even thought we could afford to travel in an aeroplane, I did not want to be a burden on chachaji. So I never sat in an aeroplane. He did a lot for me already.

Soon they made an announcement that the plane is about to take off.

Karan's pov

I kept my seat belt on when they made the announcement. She too kept it on without any problem.

I am proud of my girl. Even though it's her first time on a plane it seems as if she was waiting for this moment her entire life.

As I was busy admiring her I saw her getting a little nervous. Take off is hella nerve racking.

I slowly held her hand and gave her a smile. She looked at me and nodded before leaning back in her seat.

I closed my eyes and did the same as even I am scared of take off but I need to be brave infront of her.

I opened my eyes after the take off and saw her staring at me lovingly. I raised an eyebrow at her questioningly.

"You are scared too." She said making me nod slowly embarrassed.

"It's okay Karan. Everyone has a fear of something. It's completely normal to feel scared." She said making me chuckle.

"So now you are using my own spells against me huh?" I said sitting straight up and leaning close to her.

"Why?? Can't I ?" She asked innocently making me go awe.

"Ofcourse you can baby." I said immediately changing my tone and cupping her face.

She grinned before facing the window. She was still holding my hand.

I chuckled at her excitement and took a few photos of her secretly. She is my girlfriend now so I can do that.

Anyway she loves it when I take her candid photos. She is always soo beautiful.

I did my own thing as to not disturb her moment alone. I took interest whenever she called me for something.

She explored everything that was in front of her and it was freaking adorable.

Then we ate some food and I told her to rest for sometime as she will be tired when we reach there.

She nodded and we slept in our seats while holding hands. As I was about to drift off to sleep she called my name.

"How long is it gonna take to reach there?" She asked peeking her little head up.

"Sleep baby. It's gonna take almost 9 - 10 hours more." I said while chuckling.

She visibly gasped and fell back in her seat. Then after some time I felt her grip on my hand getting lose.

I raised my head and saw her peacefully sleeping. I smiled and caressed her hair before going off to sleep.

We woke up after 5 hours and that too because we were hungry. We ate some food and decided to watch a movie.

'Jab we met' was the movie selected by my dear girlfriend. We both watched the movie and she was Invested in it.

Even after the movie had ended there was some time left soo we just decided to talk.

And oh boy as I had already expected we talked a lot. Ofcourse without disturbing the other passengers.

She told me that she wanted to attend the meeting but also wanted to roam the country.

Who is gonna tell her that there will be only two meetings and we are free most of the time?

Not me because it's gonna be a surprise for her. I will give her many big suprises throughout the trip.
