25. I wanna be yours pt. 1

Karan's pov

The party is finally over and I thanked all the guests for coming to the party before getting ready to leave.

I saw Ridhima trying to book a cab. It's late so she obviously won't find a cab.

Why does she even try to book a cab when I am available here. Like always I will drop her home.

"Let me drop u sweetheart. You dont have to worry when I am here." I said holding my hand out to her.

Everyone who came here came either with their friends or partners so they can go home easily.

She smiled and held my hand. We both walked outside till my car. She looks very tired.

"All good?" I asked after we both settled in the car.

She just nodded with a small smile.
"Just a little tired."

I nodded and started driving. There was silence so I decided to play a soft and soothing song.

"Can I play a song? Only if you want." I asked.

She nodded slightly and started looking outside the window.

I played my favourite song. I find it very peaceful. I wanna be yours ~

I signed listening to the peaceful voice of the singer. I looked at my side and saw her leaning back with a relief.

I will never rust"

She looks so peaceful just like this song. I smiled seeing her content face.

"If you like your coffee hot
Let me be your coffee pot "

I smiled remembering all the times we had coffee together in the office while working late at night. The coffee date.

She was fast asleep and looked as divine as possible by a human.

I stopped the car at a side and removed my coat before covering her with it.

I murmured the lyrics looking at her while resisting the urge to caress her hair.

My feeling are official. I mean they already were. I definitely like her. But is it more than like?

I continued driving after making sure that she is comfortable, lost in my thoughts.

Ridhima's pov

I woke up a little when I felt someone shaking me slightly. I just shrugged it and slept again as I was very tired.

I finally woke up when I felt harsh sunlight on my face. I sat up and saw the time.

WTH!!?!? It's literally afternoon right now!!!. 01:00 pm!?!?!!.

"Ohh good afternoon. You are finally awake. Freshen up and eat breakfas- sorry lunch." Gauri di said while coming in.

"When did I reach home?! Did I sleep in the car?!?? Then how did I come home?!??? Please tell me!!!" I asked in disbelief.

"Calm down ridhu calm down. I will tell you everything but first freshen up and eat." She said and went out of the room.

I wanted to protest but my stomach protested first so I took a bath and went to eat.

"Now I am done please tell me what happened yesterday??" I asked getting desperate.

I didnt even say good bye to Karan. What will he think about me??.

"Soo what happened was-

Karan tried to wake Ridhima up after they had reached her home. But she kept groaning and whining.

So he thought he had no choice but to carry her in his arms. Also because he didn't want to disturb her sleep.

He lifted her in his arms carefully and she subconsciously wrapped her hand around his neck.

He smiled seeing her sleeping peacefully. He carried her till the gate and somehow managed to ring the bell.

Gauri opened the door and was shocked to see the scene infront of her.

"Umm hi myself Karan singhania. I am her friend and-" he said awkwardly.

"Hey I know you Karan. I am gauri rathore,her di." Gauri said still in shock .

"Ohh. Even I know you, nice to meet you" he said with a smile.

Even she smiled and signalled him to come in the house. He nodded and came inside.

"Her room is there. Is she alright?" Gauri said while guiding Karan towards the room.

"Yeahh she is alright don't worry . She is just sleeping . She got tired at the party." He said reassuring her.

She nodded and he layed Ridhima down on the bed slowly. She instantly hugged a pillow after leaving Karan.

He chuckled and took the coat from her. He covered her with the blanket and smiled.

Gauri was witnessing this scene in shock and amusement. He turned around.

"Umm I should get going now. Thank you for having me." He said while slightly bowing.

"Your welcome and thank you for bringing her home." she did the same.

They both shared a small smile and he went away in his car.

Flashback ends*

"Ohh so he carried me home." I said while blushing. He is such a gentleman.

I wanted to know gauri Di's views on him. But I don't want to ask it directly.

"I can't really decide much in first meet but he seems like a gentleman." She said smiling at me.

I first nodded but then hugged her tightly while giggling. She too started laughing.

Okay soo he gave a good impression to gauri di. Now only nandini is left. But she is never available at home.
