Jungkook stood beside Jimin, exchanging hushed words. Jimin's eyes lingered on Jungkook, concern etched on his face.
"What happened to you? Why do your eyes look so hollow? You're used to this kind of place."
Jungkook chuckled softly, shaking his head. "It's nothing, Jimin. Just... a rough day."
He pulled out a cigarette pack from his pocket, slid one between his lips, and ignited it with a lighter. As he took a deep drag, his gaze shifted toward the horizon.
Jungkook leaned against the cold metal of the car, the cigarette dangling between his fingers. He took a long drag, the smoke mingling with the crisp night air.
His eyes were fixed on the approaching car, which was slowly making its way towards them.
As the vehicle came to a stop, a group of men in tactical gear emerged, their serious expressions highlighting the urgency of their mission.
The leader, a tall man with a stern face, approached Jungkook with a purposeful stride.
"We're here to rescue," the leader announced, his tone both authoritative and reassuring. "Are you Jungkook?"
As the men approached, one of them stepped forward and said, "We're here to rescue. We've come as quickly as we could." Jungkook's gaze sharpened.
"The rescue team arrived some time ago and already took them out," he said, his voice tinged with suspicion. The leader of the men frowned.
"But we only just arrived. If they've been rescued already, then who would have taken them?"
Jungkook's eyes widened in alarm. His mind raced as he realized the potential danger.
Without a word, he snatched the car keys from Jimin's hand, his movements quick and urgent. Jimin's eyes went wide.
"Jungkook, what's wrong?" Jungkook didn't answer.
He was already slipping into the driver's seat, his hands gripping the steering wheel with a desperate determination.
The engine roared to life, and he sped off, tires screeching as he raced away from the scene. Jimin ran after the car, shouting after him, but
Jungkook's focus was fixed on one thing: finding out who had really rescued them the safety of Hayat..
The urgency in his chest drove him forward, pushing him to confront whatever new threat might be lurking.
Jungkook's heart pounded as he drove, his eyes scanning the snow-covered landscape for any sign of Hayat.
After covering a small distance, he noticed two familiar figures lying motionless in the snow. Panic surged through him as he recognized them-Sara and Taehyung.
Without a second thought, Jungkook slammed the brakes and skidded to a stop. He leaped out of the car and rushed over to them, his breath forming clouds in the freezing air.
His hands shook as he gently lifted Sara and Taehyung, carefully placing them into the backseat of the car. "Hang in there, Taehyung! Sara!"
Jungkook's voice was a frantic whisper as he buckled them in. He was on edge, his worry for their safety propelling him into action.
