Mr. Khalid came forward and slapped Jeon Ali hard across the face.
"You're just lying! We can't accept anything from you. All mafias are the same—they are liars and ruthless."
"Did you forget what happened to your brother? How brutally those mafia's killed him?", he turned to Hayat.
Ali's eyes narrowed at Mr. Khalid's words. He hadn't known Hayat had a brother. He shrugged off the pain and said.
"I'm not lying. If I wanted to fake it, I would have accepted Islam from the start."
"But I didn't, because I don't think anyone's religion is a game to play. I accepted Islam by my heart, not because I wanted to marry Hayat."
Mr. Khalid turned to Hayat. "Hayat won't marry a guy like you. She has already suffered enough."
Ali, standing his ground, said, "As long as I am with her, no one would dare to do anything to her. Not even my enemies would show their shadows in front of her."
Taehyung plopped up between them and said, "Mr. Khalid, please take Hayat with you. I need to talk to Jungkook alone."
Mr. Khalid took Hayat inside, leaving Kim Taehyung and Jeon Ali alone. Jeon Ali glanced at the table and noticed a bunch of bananas.
He picked them up and started eating, then motioned for Taehyung to continue.
Jeon Ali frowned and smirked. "What, are you gonna propose to me or something?"
Taehyung rolled his eyes dramatically. "Please, I'm not interested in men. Especially men like you. Actually, I can't stand you."
Jeon Ali made an exaggerated face of disgust. "Oh, gross. I'm not interested in talking."
Taehyung leaned in, his face serious. "Look, this is important."
Jeon Ali sighed, rolling his eyes. "Fine, fine. But please, drop that serious face. You're already a clown, and with that look, you just got promoted to head clown."
.Taehyung rolled his eyes, and Jeon Ali grinned. "It's really satisfying to see you serious for once. Usually, you're just making me angry with your clueless antics."
Taehyung looked at him with a serious expression. Jeon Ali, unfazed, climbed onto the wall of the house and perched there, munching on a banana.
He offered one to Taehyung and said, "Hey monkey, come sit up here. Why are you making that face? Is it because I took your bananas?"
Taehyung sighed. "I want to talk about something serious."
Jeon Ali scoffed, biting into another banana. "Serious? Coming from you? That's like a clown trying to give a TED Talk."
Taehyung climbed onto the wall and sat beside Jungkook, grabbing a banana from his hand and starting to eat.
Jeon Ali chuckled. "Look at you, coming to your senses. Guess these bananas are that irresistible."
Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Do you really want to marry Hayat?"
Jeon Ali smirked. "What, did you think I came here to join a circus? Of course, I came to marry Hayat. Who else would I want to marry, you?"
Taehyung shook his head. "Seriously, why do you always bring up haram stuff? Is there anything halal about you?"
Jeon Ali rolled his eyes. "Hey, don’t ask me about halal or haram. I’m just here for the wedding, not to audition for a cooking show!"
Taehyung clenched his jaw and said, "Can you stop roasting me for once?"
Jeon Ali chuckled, "Nope, not a chance."
