Tari POV-

The scene open just outside of the mall, where a tournament of sorts is being held.

We see a face off between Yoshi and King K Rool

"Come on Yoshi, you can do this!", I said

Yoshi tries to his the King Croc with an egg roll, but KK Rool defeats Yoshi with a belly parry, defeating Yoshi and winning the match 3:0

"Oh man...", I said, with sadness and disappointment in my voice

"Well well, what's a surprise?", says a young woman, specifically talking myself

"If it isn't the biggest baby in the entire world of gaming, losing and getting ready to cry again!", the woman says, revealing herself. She was about the same height as our blue haired friend, with a light pink hair and a mostly white outfit fit for a snobby rich gamer

"You were pathetic to thing you ever stood a chance against me Tari", Evelyn says, "why do you even bother trying?"

"Leave me alone, Evelyn", I said, with a firm yet hesitant voice, "it's not fair to be a sore winner. Not everyone is as good as games as you-"

Before Tari could finished, she is pushed down to the ground by Evelyn, causing me to back up in the fear that she will do something bad to her

"Let's get one thing straight, weirdo", Evelyn says, with anger in her voice, "You are nothing but a weak little spec of Donkey Kong's crap, and if you have any respect for what gaming is..."

Evelyn closes in until she's right in my face, "Then you'll never show your hideous face in MY tournaments again!"

Evelyn herself did not own the tournament, but her father owned the mall. Though it's not like that really matters, she'd probably act like she owned the place even if I were the owner

I looked at the ground, attempting to stop tears from escaping my eyes. I could feel a cloud of fear and despair forming around me, as I dipped into a void of my own doubt. "Is... is this..." I thought to myself, "is this who I'm always going to be...?"

"NO", I said, snapping myself out of my trance, "I can't give in! Feeling sad is for the weak!"

"I just need more practice! The better I get, the better my chances at winning will be too!", I said, with as much enthusiasm as I could manage, breaking myself out of my sorrow for the time being...

"Victory Tournament, here I come!" I said, as I ran out of the tournament lobby full of optimism and excitement
