3rd person POV
Sanemi was kneeling down and looking at the flowers, next to him was Kanae also kneeling down at them.
They were in the Wind Estate and were currently examining Sanemi's attempt at starting a garden. Which had turned out pretty well, albeit his anger and violent looking demeanor, he had a green thumb.
"This is incredible!" Kanae said looking at the flowers that he had begun to grow.
Sanemi glanced at Kanae, a small, shy smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "It's nothing special," he muttered, scratching the back of his head. "Just some flowers. I thought... you might like them."
Kanae's eyes sparkled with delight as she gently touched a delicate blossom. "It's more than 'just some flowers,' Sanemi. You've done a wonderful job," she praised, her voice warm and sincere. "And you even remembered my favorite, these Cyclamens are beautiful!"
Sanemi's face flushed slightly as he looked away, trying to hide his embarrassment. "Yeah, well, I just paid attention," he grumbled, though there was a hint of pride in his tone. "Wanted to make sure you had something nice to look at when you visit."
Kanae giggled softly, finding his awkwardness endearing. She reached out and took his hand, squeezing it gently. "You're so thoughtful," she said, her smile widening. "I love that about you."
Sanemi's eyes softened as he looked at Kanae, the warmth of her touch grounding him. "I just want you to be happy," he admitted, his voice low but earnest as he looked away trying to hide his scarlet face. "You've done so much for me, and I... I want to do something for you too."
Kanae's heart melted at his words. She leaned closer, resting her head on his shoulder. "You make me happy just by being yourself, Sanemi," she murmured. "But I appreciate all the little things you do. They mean a lot to me."
Sanemi wrapped an arm around her, holding her close. "I never thought I'd be growing flowers," he chuckled, a rare, genuine laugh escaping him. "Guess you've changed me more than I realized."
Kanae looked up at him, her eyes shining with affection. "You've always had a gentle side," she said softly. "It's just that not everyone gets to see it. But I'm glad I do."
Sanemi's expression softened further as he looked into Kanae's eyes. "You bring out the best in me," he said, his voice tender. "I don't know what I'd do without you."
Kanae blushed, feeling a warm glow in her chest. "You'd probably be grumpy all the time," she teased, giving him a playful nudge. "But seriously, Sanemi, you've become such an important part of my life. I can't imagine it without you either."
Sanemi smiled, leaning down to plant a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Then let's make sure we stick together," he said, his voice firm yet gentle. "No matter what."
Kanae nodded, her heart swelling with love and gratitude. "Always," she agreed, squeezing his hand once more.

I walked to the butterfly mansion after one of my missions. I was tired but the mission didn't make me receive any major injuries...
"Oh m-! Sanemi!" Kanae came rushing towards me after seeing me.
"What happened to your chest!?" She asked
In truth the demon I was hunting managed to get one last swing in right on my chest leading to 3 large scars in the middle of my chest. "Umm... I got careless"
