"A dinner?" Daella scoffed as Daemon chuckled beside her as they walked down the hallway.
"I know. It's strange, but it's what my brother wants." Daemon smirked as Daella scowled.
"You know something." she accused as he raised his eyebrows.
"I don't know what you're talking about." he raised his hands and walked in front of her.
"Tell me what you know." she grabbed his arm and turned him to face her.
"Never little princess." he chuckled.
"Lock your chamber doors tonight." she threatened and stormed off.
Daella stood next to Aemond in front of her seat. No matter how much she fought to sit by someone else, her grandfather scolded her and told her to sit next to the person she despises. At least Helaena was on her right.
He father hobbled in and everyone sat down.
"How good it is to see you all tonight...together." her father rasped.
"Prayer before we begin?" Alicent suggested and Daella rolled her eyes at her mother. All of her siblings rested their heads on their conjoined hands while the rest of the family followed along confused. Daella reluctantly joined them and Luke laughed at her which he played as a cough.
"May the Mother smile down on this gathering with love. May the Smith mend the bonds that have been broken for far too long. And to Vaemond Velaryon, may the Gods give him rest." Daella and Daemon smirked at each other and tried to hold in their laughs. Aemond hit his sister's torso to which she hit back an glared at him.
"This is an occasion for celebration, it seems. My grandsons, Jace and Luke, will marry their cousins Baela and Rhaena further strengthening the bond between our houses. A toast to the young princes...and their betrothed." Everyone raised their cups to the boys.
"As well, my daughter Daella will marry Lord Rodrik Forrester, connecting us to the North. Well done my dear Daella." Viserys smiled as Daella looked at her mother in shock.
"What?" Daella asked her mother in betrayal.
"Lord Forrester asked for your hand and I thought it acceptable." she smiled at her daughter who glared back. Aegon looked at his sister in shock. How could she be betrothed to a northerner. She should be his.
"Hear, hear!" Daemon cheered and smiled towards his niece. Daella glared at his happy face, how could he be happy at this.
"Well done, Jace. You'll finally get to lie with a woman." Aegon taunted.
"At least he won't be with whores every night. Baela would kill him before that could happen." Daella murmured and Helaena giggled. Helaena filled their cups full with wine. Helaena wanted to get drunk and Daella wanted to join her.
"Comme sister. Let us drink." Helaena whispered and they both guzzled down their drinks.
"Let us toast prince Lucerys as well...the future Lord of the Tides."
