The waves below her crashed as she neared the clearing of grass on her favorite hill. It was in between Dragonstone and King's Landing and you could see and hear all of the dragons on either side. That's why she and Aegon liked it so much, they'd come here to escape duty and relax in the comfort of each other. They even named DāErves Hinon in honour of the freedom it gave them.

Hyrne landed on the green grass and she slid down his wing onto the ground. She sunk to the floor onto her knees as she clutched her hands together and held them to her chest and began to cry. Her cries were soft compared to her screams before.

Hyrne lay down on the grass behind her as she leant against his sapphire scales and took in his warmth as the wind blew around them. She stared out onto the sea for hours, not bothering to move to either castle.

Suddenly, the sound of a dragon came from above her and she saw pale blue scales descend from the sky and land close by. It was Dreamfyre.

Helaena climbed from her dragon and walked closer to her sister. She said nothing and just sat next to her in silence. The only sound being the crashing of waves against the cliff and the breathing of the blue dragons.

"Are you going to Rhaenyra?" Helaena asked, breaking the silence.

"I wish I could but I wouldn't be able to without him and I hate Daemon and everything he stands for." she scowled and wiped away a stray tear.

"Are you coming home?" she held her sister's hand tightly.

"I don't know." she muttered in defeat and stared at the blades of grass and strung her fingers through them.

"He loves you." Helaena said and turned to face her sister. Daella looked into her sister's eyes.

"I know and I can't bring myself to hate him not matter how hard I try." Daella cried as tears left her eyes slowly. Helaena gave a soft smile and gripped her other hand comfortingly.

Daella watched as her sister looked out onto the horizon in peace. Daella couldn't leave Helaena alone in that castle, not with a usurper, a kinslayer and the Hightowers. She couldn't leave the twins, she needed to be with Helaena, the only person she trusted in this world.

"I'll come home." she sighed and smiled softly as she stood. Helaena hugged her tightly and she stayed there, holding her fragile sister. They parted and went to mount their dragons.

Dreamfyre wasn't significantly bigger than Hyrne as Hyrne was bigger than most for his age. The two dragons flew back to the Dragon pit next to each other as the sisters laughed at their playful behaviour. Helaena was her safe space. She always had been. But she especially is now that...Luke...

Daella blocked all thoughts of the Velaryon and descended into the Dragon pit and clambered off her dragon.

Helaena linked their arms together and they went through the dragon pit towards a carriage waiting for them.

"Skorkydoso bōsa emagon nyke issare gone?" Daella asked her sister as they walked past the listening guards.

"Nykeā dorolvie jēDun." Helaena answered as the carriage began to move.

"Nyke should daor emagon geptot." Daella admitted as she lowered her head. "Nyke vēttan tolvyn tolī qopsa than ziry could emagon issare."

"Daor matter mandia. Ao issi māzis lenton se nyke pāsagon jaehaerys se jaehaera emagon missed aōha presence." Helaena dismissed and they continued in comfortable silence towards the Red Keep.

The carriage stopped and Helaena made her way out followed by Daella. Alicent was waiting in the courtyard and rushed forward when she saw her youngest daughter.

"Thank the Gods you're safe." she clutched her child and held her face to press kisses on her face.

"I'm alright mother." Daella gave a small smile and went towards the steps leading to the castle. Alicent watched her go in despair. She hated the Velaryon bastards but after seeing Daella in such a state over Lucerys it made her feel remorseful.

Daella made her way towards her chambers and pushed open the heavy door and walked inside and to her surprise Jaehaerys and Jaehaera were sitting on her carpet as they played with their toys.

They babbled at the sight of their aunt and she made her way towards them. She sat on the carpet and the clambered their way to hold onto her. She softly smiled at her nephew and niece as they continued to play then remembered she'd most likely never see Rodrik again after she told him to flee. She'd most likely never get married now because of the impending war.

Helaena entered the chambers with her handmaidens. She sat on the plush sofa behind Daella and continued her embroidery of Sunfyre for Aegon's wardrobe. Daella leant her head against her sister's skirts and watched the flames once again. The handmaidens behind them, including Niamh, fixed the scattered furniture and trinkets which Aegon threw on his search for her.

"Daella." his voice chimed in as he entered her chambers slowly. She didn't respond as she played with Jaehaerys's hair. Aegon sighed and sat down next to his wife so their sister was in between both of their legs. Daella noticed as all of the maidens stiffened when Aegon entered the room, scared of what he may do.

Aegon took in her silence and the three siblings sat together with no conversation and they actually felt slightly at peace for once. Aegon's fingers fiddled with Daella's hair as she moved her head to rest against his legs after a moment and played with the ends of Helaena's dress.

Alicent watched her children sitting together with her grandchildren. She'd never seen the three so at peace with each other. She smiled softly at the sight then turned to leave but Aemond was advancing.

"Don't Aemond." she warned.

"Why mother?" he smirked.

"She's gone through enough." she pushed his chest slightly, urging him to leave and he did leaving her to let out a heavy sigh and continued towards her new chambers which just so happened to be Rhaenyra's old rooms. She entered the chamber and there Criston Cole was waiting for her.
