Alicent hated the idea of forcing her mourning daughters on a carriage, surrounded by people. Helaena was the biggest of her worries. Her child was the one murdered.

She left the nursery where Helaena stared off into the distance and made her way towards Daella's chambers. She walked in and saw it stark empty. A goblet of wine was tipped over with droplets of liquid pouring onto the floor.

After Daella left the council she went into a frenzy and drank anything in sight, hit whatever she could and ripped tapestry's and clothes.

Alicent went to leave but was stopped as she heard the sound of sloshing water.

"Daella?" she called and turned towards her baths where Daella sat with her knees up to her chest, rocking slightly back and forth and staring of into the distance with a haunted glance.

Alicent slowly walked closer, watching her daughter closely.

"Darling?" she said trying to grab her attention but Daella seemed as if she wasn't even there. She just sat tensely and let water drip down her. Muttering incoherent things as the bath turned red with the blood of her nephew.

"We have been asked to ride behind Jaehaerys at the funeral procession to show sympathy." Alicent sat next to the brass and ran a hand over her daughters wet, bloody hair like she used to do when Daella was young.

"No." Daella forced and clicked her fingers quickly and shook her head violently.

"The King has commanded it." Alicent grabbed her hand and scrubbed the dried blood away until Daella ripped her hand away from her mother.

"Fuck the King." she murmured and got out, still having blood on her body. She walked towards her chamber doors naked, water covering the floors. She stared at the floor as Alicent stared at her.

Alicent went to say something but couldn't because Daella started to laugh. Daella giggled and her laughter grew as it become maniacal. She knocked over objects in her room with a sense of glee.

Alicent stared in horror as her daughter opened the doors and left the room naked for all to see.

"Daella!" she yelled and ran after her as Daella skipped through the halls. Daella looked back with a mischievous glint in her eye as she saw her mother run after her.

"Come and get me." she cackled and sprinted through the halls, cackling and jumping.

"Daella! You're the princess! You shouldn't be doing this!" Alicent yelled catching attention of guards.

Daella laughed and spun around, flinging water at the walls from her hair.

"Mother what is wrong?" Aemond turned to his desperate mother who had tears in her eyes as she looked into the distance. Aemond followed her stare and saw his sister jumping in joy with a haunting smile on her face as she clawed at her face, drawing blood.

"Aegonnn." she trailed and went in the direction of the throne room. Aemond ran after her and grabbed her quickly to hide her away from others.

"Let me go Aemond! I want to see my lover! I want to see the man who usurps and murders! I want to see the man who allowed my nephew to be murdered!" he voice grew louder as she spoke. Aemond watched her closely as he was passed a cloak to cover her.

"Come sister. Let's get you clean for the funeral." Aemond went to lead her away but she slipped away and ran towards Aegon's chambers. Aemond ran after her, the green fabric billowing behind her.

Daella pushed into the King's chambers and pushed through to find a crying Aegon.

"Lover." she called and dropped the cloak and ran towards him. A wide grin etched on her face.

"What are you doing Daella?" his voice cracked.

"Taking the stress away." she cooed and went to straddle his lap but her pushed her away and she tripped over her own feet and landed on the cold, stone floor. Aegon sobbed as she laughed once again loudly. She grabbed a part of the broken sculpture he broke earlier and threw it at him. He dogged out of the way as it shattered behind him.

"Why are you doing this!" he yelled, his voice raw.

"I'll kill them! I'll kill them all!" she mocked his words from the council and threw another piece of stone at his head to which he narrowly avoided. "Will you kill them Aegon?! Will you?! Like Lucerys?! Will you kill them all my King?! I sure wish you do! I hope you kill me with them! Like you want to! To get guilt away!" she laughed and screamed as she came closer.

"Stop it." he muttered and she came up to him.

"Kill me! Go on! Kill me Aegon!" he cried as she screamed in his face and kept repeating no. "No? No!" she cackled and turned till she caught sight of the dreaded window.

"Then I won't hassle you with the troubles my King." she ran and clambered towards the window and went to jump once again till someone grabbed her bare waist and lifted her.

"Let me go!" she balled her fists and kicked at her capture.

"I can't do that princess." Cole said and left the room with her in his arms as her yells grew quiet.

Aegon fell to a heap on the floor as he sobbed more. Aemond and Alicent stood over him.

"She can't go on the carriage. She may go hysterical once again." Alicent heeded.

"She has to." Otto said.

"People are already calling her the Mad Princess. And you want her to ride with her dead nephew?" Alicent questioned.

"Mother, if the see her mad then the smallfolk may take even more sympathy for us. They'll believe Rhaenyra drew her to madness." Aemond spoke as Aegon looked up in distain.

"Aemond is right. She needs to be there and we'll have extra guards to make sure she doesn't flee." Otto came closer.

Aegon stumbled up and took a swig of wine.

"Have guards posted by Hyrne. She can't leave again. She must stay here with me." Aegon commanded and slumped in his chair as his family watched him.

"Of course my King." Otto bided goodbye and the three left the room.

After the Dance of Dragons, Princess Daella was known by many names. The most popular was the Mad Princess. Only two of the Targaryen's went knowingly mad and she was the first. The bards spoke of her frenzy's and mood changes lots as they sung of her talking to walls and yelling that they were coming for her.

A statue was made by a man and the King had him killed as it depicted Daella naked, mid-run with a psychotic grin. Aegon put it below the castle, not wanting it to be found. Until a Stark girl ran past.

Arya ran through underneath the castle, passing dragon heads and skulls. She want to leave until a gold glint caught her eye.

A statue of a young woman running naked with a grin on her face, 6 feet tall. Arya knew who it was. Everyone did. Daella Targaryen, an angel till Rhaenyra turned her mad. Arya came closer and looked at the gold necklace around her neck, it had two dragons entwined in a heart, one gold, one sapphire. A crown was embedded on her head with the same symbol at the middle, she looked like a Queen but she never was.

Her wishes of marrying Aegon ripped away from her. Her life ripped away. Put away for no one to see.

The Mad Princess.
