A wave of nausea came over Daella as she slowly opened her eyes to stare up at the blinding sky. She leant over and threw up on the cobblestone and coughed aggressively. She spat out the rest and sighed. Then she laughed. She giggled like a child getting their first toy.
A shadow covered her body and she looked up and saw Cole looking down at her with no expression present. She groaned and turned her face away from his direction.
"Afternoon princess." Cole spoke. Even his voice felt like a pain in her head.
"Cole-uh-where's Aegon?" She groaned and held her head as Cole smirked down at her.
"That's none of your concern princess, all you shall know is that I am bringing you to the Queen Alicent." Daella swayed in his arms as she groaned loudly and pressed her palms against her eyes and dragged them down her face.
"No not mumma." she cried and slumped in the man's arms.
Cole quietly chuckled as he carried her through the castle gates and towards her mother's chambers. An emerald green dress ready for her arrival.
"Thank you, Ser Criston." Alicent's voice pierced through her thoughts as she felt her body being lowered down onto a plush sofa.
"My baby." she whispered as she stroked her daughter's matted hair. She led a delicate finger down the side of her face and sat down next to the pale girl.
A ghost of a smile appeared on the princesses face with her eyes remaining closed. Alicent's had trailed down the smooth hair and brushed against her neck and gently moved her hair back.
"You got her drunk and did monstrous things to her! What would we do if someone sae you too?! We'd have to marry her off to a disgusting lord who would do ghastly things to her!" Alicent screeched as she stormed into Aegon's chambers. He groaned as he heard his mother but when he saw her face he immediately knew he was in deep shit.
"I didn't do anything." He whispered.
"Then what are the marks on her neck!" Aegon's eyes widened. He was caught.
"I only kissed her." He pleaded.
"How can I believe you." Alicent went closer to strike.
"He didn't do it." A voice was heard at the door. Alicent turned to see her daughter picking at her nails.
Aegon stared at her. His saviour. He stared at her matted hair and dirty face with love and adoration. She was an angel. His angel.
"My darling. Go back to bed." Alicent whispered and went closer to Daella.
"I promise mumma. He didn't touch me."
It felt like she was with Rhaenyra again. The same conversation with her daughter that she had with her old friend many years ago.
"Okay." Alicent murmured and left to the throne room.
Daella watched her walk out the door then went closer to Aegon's bed.
"Thank the Gods I got here in time." she joked and Aegon let out a small laugh, she could always cheer him up. He looked down at his lap, his hair falling in front of his face. Daella brushed away his hair and lifted his face to look her in the eyes.
She stared into his violet eyes and he looked into his brown ones. She leant forward and gave him a gentle kiss.
"I love you..." Aegon whispered.
"I love you too." Daella said before kissing his lips again.
"I always will." he held her hand that was against his cheek.
"How could you not." she smirked.
