The soft morning light fills the room as I slowly wake up. My eyes fall on Rudra, who is sleeping peacefully beside me on the bed. There's a strange sweetness in the serenity of his face, as if all his troubles have vanished in this moment. Having him near gives me an unspoken sense of calm, as if everything is right in the world. As I watch him, I think to myself that maybe this is the moment I've always longed for.

Then, I quietly slip out of bed, careful not to disturb his sleep, and begin my morning routine.

I walked over to the bed and started to gently shake him awake. “Rudra... Rudra, get up, yaar! At least today, wake up on time. We have so much work to do, and we need to celebrate our anniversary too. You know the house is buzzing with wedding preparations, and here you are, sleeping like a log.”

“Mmm…” he murmured sleepily, holding my hand, “Give me a kiss first, then I'll open my eyes. Otherwise, I’m telling you, I’ll keep sleeping,” he said with his eyes still closed.

Smiling, I leaned down and pressed my lips softly against his cheek. “Alright, now get up.”

“Here too,” he said, pointing to his other cheek with a sly grin, “Or should I just open one eye?”

I laughed and kissed his other cheek as well. “Day by day, you’re getting more and more stubborn in your old age.”

“Old age?” he protested, sitting up with a sudden jolt. “I haven’t even had kids yet! How can I be old?”

“Well, only old people take so long to get up in the morning. Young people are energetic and lively,” I teased him while I began drying my hair.

“If you want to see my youthfulness, just let me know... No need to beat around the bush,” he said, wrapping his arms around me from behind.

“I’ll check out your youthfulness later. Now go take a shower and come downstairs,” I replied, giving him a playful push before making my way out of the room.

Everyone in the family was gathered in the living room, chatting and laughing, immersed in their conversations. As soon as I entered the room, someone shouted, "Aaaru!" I turned toward the main gate and saw Paro.

"Happy anniversary to youuu!" she exclaimed as she wrapped me in a tight hug. "The girl who never wanted to get married, and look at you now, celebrating your anniversary!"

Her baby bump looked beautiful, glowing with life. I placed a gentle hand on her tummy and said, “Oh, come on, little one, come outside soon  and we will'be trouble your mommy together.”
