"Rudra! Rudra!" I yelled as I entered the room.
"What happened, baby? Why are you so stressed?" He got up from the bed and walked toward me.
"Have you seen my phone? I've been looking for it everywhere, and I can't find it!" I said, rummaging through a few corners.
"I don’t know about your phone, but I do have your heart," he teased, hugging me from behind.
"Is romance necessary in every situation?" I said, turning serious, clearly irritated.
"Well, since we can’t be intimate all the time, at least let me romance you," he said, adding salt to my wounds.
"Rudra, please, not now! Help me if you can, otherwise just leave me alone," I said, trying to wriggle out of his arms.
"No!" He stubbornly tightened his grip, like a child. "Ever since the babies arrived, we haven’t had any time for romance. You don’t even have time for yourself, let alone for me!"
"I know, but right now—"
"Here’s your phone. Happy now?" He handed me my phone.
"You had it all along? Why didn’t you give it to me earlier?" I snatched the phone from him, a little annoyed.
"I was just about to give it to you, but you came in before I could," he said. I was already busy checking my phone and started heading out.
"Where are you going?" He grabbed my arm, stopping me.
"I have work to do, a lot of it. Let me go," I said, trying to pull away.
"Not until you give me my reward. I found your phone for you!" he insisted, acting like a stubborn child.
"Oh look, the baby’s up!" I said, trying to distract him, and quickly ran out of the room.
Time Lapse:
"Phew, finally I’m free!" I said as I entered the room, only to be greeted by someone with a sulky face.
I immediately understood he was irritated. "What’s wrong, baby? Are you upset?" I asked while glancing at the kids but addressing him.
He glared at me, rolled his eyes dramatically, and muttered something under his breath.
"Oh, don’t be shy. Say it out loud!" I teased, trying to lighten the mood.
"What’s the point of saying anything? You never do what I ask, so why even bother?" he said, clearly annoyed.
"Okay, okay, I’m sorry. I’m free now, and I’m all ears. Go ahead, tell me," I said, moving closer to him.
"First, give me a kiss," he demanded with puppy eyes.
I chuckled at his innocent request, then held his cheeks and planted a soft kiss on his lips.
