I stepped back, and she barely managed to stop herself from falling.

“Are you okay?” I asked, holding her arms to steady her.

She looked at me like an innocent puppy, her eyes full of questions.

“How could I be okay? When you're upset, how can I be fine?”

“I’m talking about just now—you almost fell.”

“Oh, so you did that on purpose, didn’t you?”

“You’re always up to something,” I shrugged, as if it was typical of her.

“Are you just going to stand there scolding me, or will you help me get up?” She extended her hand toward me.

“Whose mustache have you ripped off and stuck on now?” I teased, grabbing her hands and pulling her up.

“I wish I could’ve ripped off yours! Ugh, you annoying man,” she grumbled, fumbling with the button of her shirt that refused to come undone, growing more frustrated by the second.

“Really now, who’s upset here, me or you?” I said, finally offering to help with the stubborn button.

“You’re angry? You won’t forgive me?” she took a small step closer, closing the gap between us.

I glanced at her once, then silently began working on the tight button.

She stood on her tiptoes, pressing her lips against mine, softly nibbling at them.

“angry? What's that ?” I thought to myself, my eyes fixed in shock on her closed ones as she savored the kiss.

I loosened my hands from her buttons and let her take the lead with the kiss.

My heart was smiling inside.

She knows... She knows exactly how to win me over.

But I won’t give in so easily. I need more than just this.

My eyes sparkled, reflecting the thoughts running through my mind.

She began to feel breathless and finally pulled away from my lips.

A smirk started forming on my face.

"What are you doing, Rudra? You’re angry, show it!" I thought to myself, trying to hold on to my frustration.

“What was that, huh? Stay away from me!”  i replied, feigning annoyance.

Just one more... one more kiss, and I’ll shut up... Shut up! I scolded myself, snapping back to reality.

“If you get something for free, it never holds any value,” she muttered under her breath.
