The BTS precinct was buzzing with excitement as the team prepared for Namjoon’s surprise birthday party. Hoseok, ever the enthusiastic planner, had taken charge of the decorations while Jin handled the cake. It was supposed to be a day of celebration, but in true BTS fashion, things quickly spiraled into chaos.
“Everyone, get ready!” Hoseok shouted, hanging a banner that read “Happy Birthday, Namjoon!” in slightly crooked letters. “Namjoon will be here any minute!”
Jungkook, holding a balloon in each hand, was attempting to juggle them while hopping on one foot. “I think I’m getting the hang of this!” he exclaimed, just as a balloon popped, startling him and causing him to trip over a chair.
Yoongi, sitting nearby with a party hat tilted at an angle, smirked. “Nice one, Kookie.”
Taehyung, who had been tasked with blowing up balloons, was struggling with the helium tank. “Why won’t this thing work?” he grumbled, twisting the nozzle with all his might. Suddenly, the tank released a burst of helium, filling the room with a high-pitched hissing noise.
Jimin, who had been arranging the snacks, burst out laughing. “Taehyung, you sound like a chipmunk!” His voice had turned comically high from inhaling some of the helium.
Jin emerged from the kitchen, holding the birthday cake triumphantly. “Behold, the masterpiece!” he announced. The cake was a multi-layered wonder, covered in frosting and adorned with candles.
Just then, Namjoon walked in, completely oblivious to the preparations. “Hey, what’s going on?”
“Surprise!” everyone shouted, but in their excitement, Hoseok accidentally knocked over the table holding the cake. The cake teetered precariously before falling right onto Jin’s face.
Jin stood there, frosting dripping from his face, and sighed. “Why does this always happen to me?”
Namjoon burst into laughter, holding his sides. “This is the best birthday ever!”
As they cleaned up the mess, Hoseok had an idea. “We need a backup cake. I know just the place. Yoongi, you’re with me.”
The two of them hurried to a nearby bakery, only to find that the last cake had just been sold to a small child. Desperate, Hoseok turned on the charm. “Hey, kid, how about we trade? I’ll give you this shiny police badge for that cake.”
The kid looked skeptical but agreed. They rushed back to the precinct with the new cake, only to find Taehyung and Jimin trying to salvage what was left of the first cake by eating it off the floor.
“Guys, we have a new cake!” Yoongi announced, setting it down carefully.
This time, they managed to light the candles and sing “Happy Birthday” without any major incidents. Namjoon blew out the candles, grinning from ear to ear. “Thanks, everyone. This was amazing.”
As they sat down to enjoy the cake, Jin muttered, “I’ll never get that frosting out of my hair.”
Jungkook, still trying to juggle balloons, said, “At least we didn’t set off the fire alarm this time.”
Just then, a loud ringing noise filled the room. Everyone turned to see Taehyung, who had accidentally hit the fire alarm with a balloon.
“Oops,” Taehyung said, shrugging.
Hoseok laughed, shaking his head. “Just another day at the BTS precinct.”
