Chapter 3

Max pov

A couple minutes after Daniel left Allison and me went back home I gave her a bath and made her dinner she ate have of it then I put her to sleep the park really tired her out.

The evening was quiet while I cleaned the.mess Allison made in the living room earlier. I slumped down on the couch tired I turned the tv after a couple minutes I felt my eyes shut.

In the middle of the night I hear my little princess crying and I got up and went to her room. I take her and bring her to my room shhed her till she stopped crying.

It didn't stop and I made my way to the kitchen to find her food she won't answer my yes or no question if she's hungry. She turned her head away to every of her favorite foods.

The last thing is ice cream and ice cream don't like it when she eats sweets this late. But to stop her from crying I have to I take a spoon and scoop a little and put the spoon by her lip and she opened her mouth.

I knew it and she stopped crying I put her on her feet and took a bowl from the cabinet and put some in the bowl for her. She happily ate it " mowe pwease " and begged and I let it slide this one time only.

I gave her more and she happily danced in her seat clapping her hands. I knew I shouldn't have giving her a second bowl cause she kept me up all night.

Lucky it was Saturday I packed her a bag and got myself and her ready and brought her to uncle Lando cause he's the only one available at the moment to help watch her while I work.

His shift doesn't start until four pm. I'm surprised that the shop isn't full of people already cause normally it's packed. The day went by slow it's like a normal Monday at school.

As much as I loved working the sleep that I missed last night is catching up to me. I felt myself slipping away into dreamland a couple times Mr Wolff almost caught me.

Somehow I survived not falling asleep in the store when Lando came with Allison. She came running into my arms screaming " daddy " I almost fell back but I kept my balance.

Just as I was opening the door someone already did. Daniel. He smiled stepping back to let me go through " hey, Allison " Daniel said and Ali hid her face in my neck.

I rub her back and look at her " come on, say hi princess " I shake her a little " hi " she says in a shy voice. Daniel chuckles and it's the sweetest sound I ever heard.

I walked to the bus stop sign and sat on the bench they put there. Allison fell asleep on me when I hear a honk I look up and there is Daniel.

" come on, hop in " he got up and opened the door for me and held out his hand. " no thank you, you probably got something more important to do " i nicely declined.

" no I insist " reluctantly enough I took the offered ride. " so is she still sick " he looks at me then at the road " no she is getting better "

" so where do you live " he asks and I tell him my address and he begins driving me to my apartment. We talk a little bit about ourselves and before we even know we have arrived at my apartment complex.

He told me to wait in the car and went over to open my door " thank you " I say as I got out. " you're welcome " he said I wanted to give him a hug but my hands are occupied.

" bye Daniel and thank you so much for the ride " I say he waved it off " bye Maxy and it's the least I could do " and with that we went are separate ways.

I get in my house and put Allison in her bed and went to clean the house. I invited Shakira and lavender her daughter over for dinner.

I began making dinner when the doorbell rang I went and opened the door and there stood Shakira with her little girl. I let them " how are you " I ask. " I'm good " she went ahead and sat down on the couch.

I picked up lavender and put her by my hip and went back to cooking dinner while I talk to Shakira. I hear little footsteps from down the hallway.

" hey princess how did you sleep " she yawned and straight up held her hands out to be picked up. Kira laughed and picked her up soon I was done with dinner.

We sat around the table and said grace and ate our food.
