Chapter 7

Daniel's pov

The morning went by so slowly when the came around to go to the stadium that's when the nervousness really set in a couple hours I would be racing.

I let my buddies Zack, Jason, Aric, Corey, Dwayne and Jonathan explain the game to Max up in the suite. I hope they don't tell Max any embarrassing things about me.

I see them arrive to the stadium and walk to the area where no one can take a peek in. I leave what I was doing and went up to them. I dap them up " Danny boy what's up " Zack says patting my back.

" I'm good " I say looking around for Max that should arrive soon. " what are you looking for " Jason asked but before I could say anything Zack says.

" no, no, no more like who he waiting for " just as Jonathan finished his sentence I see Max walking over with Allison next to him.

" don't embarrass me " i whisper in their ear and walk over to Max and his daughter. " hey Maxy and Alli what's up girlie " I say walking up to them.

Allison reaches her arms up to be picked up and I take her and place by my hip. " hey Daniel " I hear a voice from behind me and turn around.

" five minutes I need you to get ready " one of the ladies say to me. I nodded and turned my attention back to Max and Allison.

" we don't have a lot of time so I'll quickly introduce you to my friends Jason and Zack " I say and called out to them and they came over.

" okay Max and Allison meet Jonathan, Zack,Jason, Aric, Corey and Dwayne" I say. Max says hello back while Allison shyly waves.

I look at my watch and it's time for me to go I hand Allison back to Max " they'll explain the race to you " I say walking away to my room to wear my uniform.

Max's pov

I hold Allison hand and follow Daniel's friends up to the suite we go inside and I take in the place. I sit in the front and place Allison on my lap.

" so how did you and Daniel meet " I hear umm oh Dwayne that's he name say. " uhh where I work at " I say " oh the Louis Vuitton store " Corey says and I nodded.

" how many years have you worked there " Dwayne asked " six years " I say playing with the end of Allison hair. I ended up braiding her hair while answering more questions Daniel's friends asked me.

The race started and I move Allison to sit in my left leg with my arm wrapped around her. As we continued to watch the race his friends explain what happens at the pit stop and what each tyre is marked as.

They continue to explain a couple more things that I ask in the middle of the race my phone starts buzzing and I look who's calling and it's my ex.

" I'm here " is all he says and hangs up I roll my eyes and ask one of them to bring to the front. Jonathan brings me to the front and offers to take me to my car.

I thank him and walk to my car with him close behind as we get closer I feel Allison grip on my shirt tightly. " daddy please I don't wanna go with him " she says.

I don't want her to go either but we made the decision in court that we each have her for a month. I try to hand her over to Julian but she's not letting go of my shirt.

I look at her and her eyes are full of tears shaking her head for me not to let her go with him. " daddy please " she says scared still gripping onto my shirt.

" Allison Jacklyn Verstappen let go of your father " Julian yells and Ali doesn't listen. " Ali princess you have let go and you don't you dare yell at my daughter like that or else " I say wiping her tears.

She pulls me in another hug sinking into it I kiss her hair and rub her back " remember what I thought " I whisper in her ear and she nodded " good " I kiss her forehead and hand her over to Julian and she reluctantly goes.

I stand still as I watch that abuser take my daughter to his house I tried to get full custody and but he threatened to kill her if I ever did.

I made a pinky promise to her that one day she will never have to go back to that house again.
