Chapter 4

Max pov

After dinner Shakira said goodnight to her daughter and left. I agreed to babysit her daughter so she could go on a date with Louie or Lewis whatever his name is.

I let them stay up a little longer then usually and that went out of the south. We stayed up till 2AM dancing around living room eating snacks.

Safe to say we had the time of out lives last night and I heard knocking in the door. I groaned and got up opening the door and saw Shakira.

I just let her in " don't ask questions " I say tiredly " I got a lot of questions " she says looking at me. " well like they said don't ask questions you don't want the answers to. " I say and lay back down.

Just then we heard little footsteps coming our way when lavender saw her mom her expression changed cause she knew she would have to go home.

" say goodbye to uncle Max and Allison " tears ran down her face shaking her head no. " princess you have to " she did what her mom told her.

She came to me and wrapped her little arms around my neck and hid her face. I kissed her cheeks and sat her back down so she can hug Allison.

After they left I made breakfast for me and Allison and washed the dishes after we were finished and then I give her a bath.

I left her play with her toys while get myself ready. I don't work on Sunday and I spent this day with my princess.

I let her choose what we do the whole day and the first stop is build-a-bear then after that she wanted to go to Claire's ect.

Then we went to her favorite fast food place in and out I have never seen a kid this obsessed with in and out ever.

I order for us both and in the middle of eating Allison looks at me " dad I have pee " I told to her go and if anything happened to scream.

" no I want to come with me. " she says standing coming over to me and taking my hand trying to pull me towards the bathroom.

I ask a waiter to make sure no one goes near or food and try to poison it. I take Allison to the girls bathroom and lock the stall door and let her do her business.

After that I take her to wash her hands and dry them. She didn't let me put her down to walk on her on own to legs.

I didn't complain cause in a couple years she not gonna wanna let me pick her up. We finished our lunch and I gave the waiter a huge tip and thank you.

Lastly she ask if we could walk around a little bit before going home. Soon her little legs couldn't take it any longer and she ask me to carry her.

Every. Single. Time

I find it adorable that every time I take her to eat her favorite meal she wants to take a walk around before going home.

Out of nowhere " daddy stop. " I stop and she wiggles in my arms to be let down. She runs over to go pet a dog and giggles when the dog sniffs her hand.

" oh hey, Maxy " Daniel came out of nowhere and kneels down to let the dog. " hi " I say shyly and I'm 100% sure my face is red.

He gets up and comes over to me and gives me a hug. I hug him back " she's adorable " Daniel says " thanks is this your dog " I ask.

" oh no it's my friends dog " as he's talking I keep glancing over at my daughter " Allison get off the rock you're gonna hurt yourself. " I warned her.

She listens and gets off and went back to pick up a stick and throw it as far as she can for the dog to fetch.

Daniel and me keep on talking as if we're old friends that our catching up on stuff. Allison and Benjamin the dog's name come back looking tired.

Alli slumps down on my lap " daddy I want water " I search her backpack for the water I pack for her in case she wanted it.

I found it and handed it to her after opened it. " it was great talking to you but I have to go. " I say to Daniel.

" yeah it was nice talking to you too. " he stood up as well " before you go can I have your phone number "

I see a glimpse of hope in his eyes as he reaches in his pocket for his phone. I take my phone out of my pocket and unlocked it and handed it to him as he handed me his.

I smiled and handed him his phone back and he gave me mine suddenly he gave me tight side hug "
Thanks I have been wanting to ask that for a whole week but got scared every time. "

I blushed he wanted my number this whole time. " well you got it now " I say. " yeah I'll text you later " I nodded and we both said goodbye to Daniel.
