Halls of Star Labs.
Cecile walks into the hall way and see's Barry looking Around Confused. She watches as he puts his phone in his pocket and walks into the lounge. He fiddles with his hand. They just keep shaking.
"Hey" Cecile says softly. "I have been looking for you, I thought you were going to the Starchives." There was a pause. "Barry"
"I...forgot where it was."
Cecile looks at him with sorrow in her eyes as she tiles her head. "Okay" and reaches out for him. "All right, cone on, talk to me."
She guides him over to the bar stools. He sits letting out a sigh as she sits with him. She notices how much he is shaking.
"Barry, what's going on with you? You're not normally this stubborn. What are you trying to prove, honey? You know you're scaring all of us. "
Barry looks at Cecile. "I'm scared too, Cecile. Orloff's still out there, and I can't--" he lets out a big sigh. "I feel myslef withering. When I run my bones ache. Like they are made of glass, and..my hands won't stop shaking. I'm always out of breath, and it's getting harder--" He lets out a small sob. "It's getting harder to...remember the people I love." Cecile lets out a breath at the words. "My friends. Iris, Nora, Bart, Joe. Even Len."
Cecile looks at him with confusion at the last name. She doesn't recognize it.
"What if I forget what he was like? I thought we had plenty of time to be together but he died. And now I am afraid I am going to forget who he was. I thought I was going to live my life with him. Now it's all fading away, like my body. And now, with my mind going, too...it's like losing everyone you love...All at once."
Cecile sniffles looks away and looks back at Barry. "Honey, who is Len?"
Barry gives a sad smile as a tear runs down his face. "My late husband." Barry looks at her as she is taken aback. "No one knew. Except Lisa his sister." He said with a soft voice.
"Oh honey, I am so sorry."
"I-I don't want to forget him. I feel like I am loosing him again. I know I am married to Iris now and that I should be worried about her but right now all I can think about is Len."
"Tell me about him. You will always love him. You have never gotten to talk about him so this is your time honey." Cecile says holding his hand. Barry lets out a sob. He reaches with a shaky hand to take a necklace off of his neck. He shows it and it has 2 rings on a thing silver chain. The rings were identical. They had lightning and snowflakes in them.
"His name was Leonard Snart but really it was Len Allen. He took my name."
"Captain Cold. He died with the Legends. I remember Joe telling me about it."
"Yea." Barry laughs. "Mick gave me his ring. Thats when Mick found out. I still have his Parka and Leather Jacket is a safe place. Iris would kill me if she knew."
"Honey I don't think she would. She was engaged before."
"But I was married. I didn't tell anyone. We got together before the lightning. He disappeared. Then he found me again. And the moment he found out I was the flash was the moment he asked me to marry him. I was so hopelessly in love with him. We fit together like a puzzle. He was my home long before and he will always be. I love Iris, but I can never love her like I love Len. Iris is my lightning rob but Len in my home. I remember when we got married and he was standing there in a suit waiting for me to get back from dealing with the latest big bad. I miss him so so much. I feel like even now I can't breath without him. But he told me to keep running the last time I saw him. So I did. I married Iris cuz I do love her but not like him. I keep waiting for him to come back. walk through Star and kiss me senseless again. Like he would when I would come home all banged up. And now with this new meta I am just afraid of losing the memory of him. The times I have just ran to the past when he was on missions just to see him again before Iris and I got together. I just miss him." Barry breaths out another Sob clutching Cecile's hand.
