"goodmorning, sweetheart." kléos mother patricia greeted her as she sat down in front of her breakfast. kléo smile shortly.
thanksgiving was in eight hours and as per tradition, her mother and father would show up last minute and hire caterers to provide their thanksgiving dinner.
it was cliche, but what else could they do since being as wealthy departed them from their intermediate family.
"um, this is nice but i have to get to school." kléo said as she picked over the burnt omelette that was served to her.
"what? why so early? your classes dont start until nine! do you do this every day?"
"yeah, aki always picks something up for me." kléo shrugged.
"aki... aki..," patricia smacked her lips, "how is he?"
"well, you would know if you came to dinner last week. it was very eventful," kléo sighed.
"i see. well, get going then. tell aki i said hello," she smiled.
kléo then headed out of the penthouse and downstairs to meet her boyfriend.
"my mom asked about you, can you believe it?" kléo chuckled.
"cant believe she still likes me after she walked in on us,"
"right, i dont know about that. but, here. i have a proposal for you. why dont you come to thanksgiving tonight." kléo suggested.
"i would but,"
"your mom. i get it," kléo sighed.
the two made their way up the constance billard stairs only for obie to make a special appearance.
