"youre up early," patricia smiled then took a sip of coffee.

"couldn't sleep, last night was rough."

"yeah, what was that? the new girl and her drama? honestly i didnt even know why we were there--"

"honestly, i think it was a good thing. everyone got something off of their chest." kléo shrugged and poured herself a cup of coffee.

"and not to mention akeno? what was that about?"

"its an inside joke, except obie doesnt know about said inside joke. no biggie," kléo assured her mother.

"well i know your friend julien has it coming, thats all ive seen on my feed this morning." patricia said.

"yeah she's-- never mind. i should start getting ready for school."

"okay sweetheart. and just to let you know, i made reservations for us at the modern after you get out of school." patricia smiled.

"thanks."

kléo then took her coffee upstairs and began getting ready for school.

"hmm," kléo scanned the area, "and she's talking to julien," she questioned.

"coffee?" max asked kléo as he walked behind the couple.

"what'd you do to it?"

"i put rat poison in it." max said subtly.

"excellent," kléo smiled and took a sip. 

"bergamot in winter? thats new," max said as he got a whiff of akenos cologne.

"trying something new," akeno said while rocking back and forth.

"do you think everything will be okay? you know, thanksgiving wasn't-"

"thanksgiving was a hoot wasnt it!" max grinned.

"we need to talk about it though, like seriously. if were not fixed by our winter trip, i might just consider rat poison." kléo said frantically.
