"you didnt answer my call last night," obie said as he coddled kléo.

"to be honest, i dont even know what happened last night." she said through her sunglasses.

"i was waiting for you," he said and handed her a breakfast sandwich and a water.

"mm," she bit into the sandwich and wiped her mouth, "really?" she said and continued chewing.

"well, aki's at tribeca festival and max.. we dont have to worry about max--"

"is this american cheese?" she interrupted.

"let me see," obie said and examined the sandwich, "that dick! i told him gouda," he smacked his lips.

"its fine. i havent eaten since yesterday morning. ill just have to see my trainer extra this week." she sighed.

"well, i have the house to myself tonight and i was thinking we order buddakan and watch a movie?" obie insisted.

"baddakan makes me gassy," she shrugged.

"right, well theres a new vegan restaurant around the corner from my house, maybe that then?" obie suggested.

"yeah, fine. hey, what was last night about anyways? you ditching on me." kléo asked him

"i promise the truth will come to light soon," obie straightened his lips, "besides, im here now."

"are you," kléo took another bite, "or are you gonna leave again?"

"i promise, kléo. im here for you one-hundred percent." obie smiled.

"good. because i wont be tagging along with aki to tribeca," kléo took a sip of water, "you get to impress me. you have forty eight hours to show me why you deserve to be-- number one." 

"really, um-- how many hours do i get to plan?" obie asked her.

"you have the rest of the school day to plan an extraordinary itinerary and it has to stay within new york." kléo stated.

"forty eight hours, new york. got it." obie smiled.

"im headed to the nurses office, i need a nap." kléo yawned.
