"That's impossible Katriona." You slowly turned around facing us, a nervous hand drew circles around your eye.

"Just wait a minute before you start being logical." Theo's voice was stern as he gripped my shoulders lightly and led me over to the black leather couch in the corner of the room.

"Did you see something different this time?" He spoke softly as if his words would break me.

"Yes. Nothing was blurry, I could see everything and everyone clearly." My eyes were burning a hole through you.

"You were there. I don't know where we were but I recognized some faces, all death eaters which can only mean the dark lord was present as well. I didn't see him bu-"

"Enough." You hissed.

"The potion does not show you the future, it shows you the past. It must be a side effect or your own mind scaring you. I should have known Snape wasn't able to perfect such a potion. That's probably why he ran off."

You rambled on, I exhaled as my fingers ran through my thick curls.

I lowered my weary head.

The thought of Snape entering my home at this hour because of me sent my mind into a chaotic frenzy.

"We'll find out more when he gets back. For now let's just relax." Theo suggested, my back straightened before leaning into him.

I held tears back as I nervously bounced my knee up and down while gnawing on my thumb nail.

You took one look at me and began heading towards the door.

"She needs to rest, I'm going to secure the room and the hall." You straightened your collar left hastily.

I tried to compose myself, I didn't want anyone else to feel as anxious as I did.

"I'm fine, I don't want to sleep." I claimed. Although the more I snuggled up to Theo the heavier my eyes struggled to stay open.

"I'll never tell you what to do pretty girl but you should get some rest after all of that." He whispered into the top of my head.

I grinned, he'd never called me that before.

It had to have been gravely late, the party didn't even start until 10 pm.

My mind was still feeling the aftershocks of Snape's spell.

It felt like a million unauthorized needles were being rammed into my brain.

If there was any time I could fall asleep naturally without a fight it was now.

The exhaustion was going to win no matter how badly I wanted to remain awake to see what was to unfold.

Theo's fingers stroked a strand of my hair, occasionally wandering to trail down my face.

Before I knew it my eyes were sealed shut, sleep wrapped its arms around me leading me deep into its unconscious world.

"It's been hours." I groaned as my legs stretched out from the uncomfortable wooden chair I sat in.
