The howling wind hissed against the glass windows as I twisted around on the thick mattress.

I lazily stretched my arm out in search for Theo.

My heavy eyes snapped open to find an empty spot with only messy covers replacing where he had laid.

Panic overtook me as I swiftly sat up swinging my legs over the bed.

"Theo?" I called out, my voice groggy as I searched for my wand.

No answer.

The cold air pricked at my trembling fingers as I reach down retrieving my cardigan from the floor.

What if I scared him?

Was it too much asking him to stay with me?

I whipped my frantic head around the room before focusing in on my wand sitting patiently atop the desk.

"Homenum Revilelio." I whispered as I stepped into the hallway.

My vein pulsated against my neck as I waited for the spell to locate him.

A faint hum brushed against my ears causing my chest to settle as I sighed in relief.

"Kat?" His faint voice called out in the distance.

I nearly fell to my knees.

My bare feet slapped against the cold wood as I hurried down the hall.

I reached the top of the staircase to find Theo standing below me, his brows knitted as a puzzled look grew on his face.

"Did you use a revealing charm on me?" He questioned as he leaned casually against the wall.

"Um.. yes I'm sorry I don't- I woke up and-" A sudden flash of heat burned my skin as I stuttered.

"I'm sorry love, I didn't want to wake you. Come down there's breakfast." He smiled up at me before disappearing in the other room.

"Dammit." I muttered as I realized how foolish I'd made myself look.

My limbs were stiff as I descended the stairs and made my way to the dinning room.

Theo sat happily in his usual spot at the table surrounded by various foods placed neatly on white platters.

"I know you had a rough night, I did too. I figured we both needed a nice morning." He motioned to the seat across from him.

His gesture soothed my anxious heart as I walked over to the chair, my brows softened as I held back tears.

"Theo.. this is amazing thank you." I pulled the slouching wool cardigan over onto my shoulder as I scooted closer to the table.

As I loaded up my plate with bacon and eggs I couldn't help but notice Theo's eyes analyzing my every move.

We both opened our mouths to speak causing us to giggle at each other.

"I'm so embarrassed. I won't do that again I promise I was just panicking at the thought of being alone." I shook my head as my hand covered my eyes.

"Hey." He reach over the table interlocking our fingers as they were all night.

My eyes met his.

"There is nothing to be embarrassed about, I would never leave you."

I let his words wrap around me pulling me out of my fear.

"If it would make you feel better I have an idea, Give me your necklace." He removed his wand from beneath the table.
