(y/n's date outfit)

One thought goes through my head as I rummage through my suitcase in the hotel room. What should I wear to my date with Jungkook?

Yesterday during our very heartfelt discussion at the McDonald's set, I agreed to try things with Jungkook again, so now here I am, preparing for our day together that he has planned. He gave me his number, and now I'm supposed to meet him at a cafe in an hour.

For now, I focus on choosing my outfit. After pulling out all the clothes from my suitcase like a madman, I lay them all out on my bed and start pairing different outfits with each other. What would Jungkook like?

After a few minutes, I finally have my outfit. I picked a white shirt, a blue and white overshirt, and blue, slightly baggy jeans. Slinging my black messenger bag over my shoulders to add a dark accent, I check my outfit in the mirror. I try not to smile as I imagine Jungkook's reaction. I hope he likes it!

I take a deep breath as I leave the hotel. Yesterday I told my driver not to come pick me up today, because I'd really thought about Jungkook's request. What if we could start over? Did he mean start over from the day we met? So I decided that today I would take the subway to meet him, instead of a private car. That way, I could relive that day I stepped off the train and met him for the first time.

When the subway train reaches my stop, I get off and make my way out of the station. I practically run up the stairs, anxious and excited and nervous and happy, all at the same time. Is this what being in love feels like?

Outside the station, I look around the street, trying to see where Jungkook is. I start to think I arrived too early, but suddenly I see a man dressed in a black trench coat, white shirt, and black pants, wearing dark sunglasses, crossing the street. It's him!

I walk up to Jungkook with a giant smile on my face as he crosses over to my side of the street. "Are you supposed to be my secret agent?"

Jungkook cracks a smile. "Yeah, I guess I am. And I'm here for my secret mission."

"And what's that?" I ask.

He takes my hand. "To give you the best day ever."

I blush as Jungkook leads me down the busy street, my hand in his. While he probably wore these dark clothes and sunglasses so he wouldn't be recognized in public, it only draws attention to himself. Both men and women turn their heads to look at him as walks with me. Despite all the attention on us, though, I feel proud that of all these people he could have chosen, he fell in love with me.

We enter a cute cafe that has little cakes in the display window. I take a look at the selection, deciding on the one I want to eat. Finally, I decide on a tiramisu cake.

"Can I order one tiramisu cake?" I ask the cashier.

"Make that two tiramisu cakes," Jungkook adds. "And I'll pay for both of us."

After we find a table and sit down, I give Jungkook a funny look. "You still like ordering the same thing as me?"

Jungkook leans over the table to ruffle my hair. "Some things never change, right? Like you, y/n. You're just as cute as the day I met you."

I try not to blush but it doesn't work. "You sure have a way with words, huh?"

He smirks at me. "Yeah, you know me."

The waiter comes with our two cakes, but before I can eat, Jungkook snatches my plate away. "What are you doing?" I ask.

Jungkook takes a spoon and digs into my cake. Before I can protest, he brings the spoon full of tiramisu over to me. "Let me feed you, y/n," he says, his voice full of affection.

Now I am full-on blushing. "W-what?"

Grinning, Jungkook keeps holding the spoon in front of my mouth. "Just let me do this for you, y/n."

Slowly, I open my mouth so Jungkook can feed me. When he takes the spoon back, I chew on my tiramisu. It's so soft and full of coffee - just how I like it. As I finish chewing, Jungkook brings another spoonful of tiramisu to my mouth. Embarrassed, I look around the cafe to see if anyone is watching. When I'm sure nobody is, I open my mouth to eat the next bite.

"Why are you so embarrassed, y/n? Couples do this all the time."

I almost spit out my food. We're a couple? Then I remember the agreement we made yesterday. Still, it feels a bit weird to have a boyfriend.

"You're still not used to having a boyfriend, huh?" Jungkook asks, that attractive smirk still on his face. "Don't worry, by the end of today, you'll be used to it."

Blushing, I let Jungkook feed me the rest of the tiramisu.

"Where are you taking me next?" I ask Jungkook as we walk to the subway station.

"Well, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, right? Let's go see them."

After a short train ride, we arrive at the Han River and join the other couples, busy holding hands and strolling around the path winding along the river. Above us, the cherry blossoms provide a vibrant pink color that signals love is in the air.

Jungkook holds my hand as we stroll together. "Aren't these so pretty? It's like the day we first met, right?" he asks.

I widen my eyes. "You still remember that?"

"Of course I do," replies Jungkook.

We keep walking along the Han River, watching as the pink blossoms float on the water, and the reflection of the trees turn the color of the water a slight pink. Jungkook's hand envelops mine, keeping it safe and warm. Suddenly, Jungkook stops walking.

"I wanna take a picture of us here," he says, pointing to a spot in front of the river. Then he cranes his neck to look for someone to take our picture, quickly finding a woman to take it for us.

I never know how to pose for pictures, so I hold up a peace sign and smile while looking at the camera. But suddenly Jungkook stands next to me and wraps his arm around my shoulder. I look at him, forgetting that my picture is getting taken right now. I remember soon enough that I need to look at the camera.

When the woman hands back the phone, Jungkook and I look at the pictures. "I like this one," Jungkook laughs, stopping at a picture of me looking at him, my eyes widened but my mouth spread in a grin.

"You seemed pretty shocked when I put my arm around your shoulder," Jungkook observes.

I shrug sheepishly. "That did surprise me a little."

We continue walking along the river, a comfortable silence settling between us. Instead of talking, we just hold hands and keep walking until our feet hurt. Cherry blossoms fall around us like we're in a pink rain shower. The sky slowly changes colors as the sun sets, adding orange and purple to our already colorful landscape.

Jungkook ruffles my hair, making me stop walking. "You had a petal in your hair," he explains.

I then notice that Jungkook has several petals in his hair as well, so I ruffle his hair as well. "You had petals in your hair, too," I say, laughing.

I keep laughing as Jungkook reaches back over to run his hands through my hair some more. "You have so many petals in your hair..."

"I don't think so," I reply, prying Jungkook's hand away from me. "You just wanna keep touching my hair."

"Maybe I do," says Jungkook. "It reminds me of when I did that before..."

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"It's nothing," Jungkook shrugs. "Anyways, let's go to our next destination!"
