Chapter 20: Making up time
I wake in the morning with the sun in my eyes.. Mojo jumps on the bed whinning at me.. i pet his head and he lays his head against my naked thigh... the warmth and bond muscles move behind. i freeze remembering the night ive had with Nate. Nate's big hand scratches Mojo's ear and he barks at him. licking his Hand. i smile still my back turned away from Nate. Nate draps his arm over me and pulls me closer to him. we are still Naked.. my back side making connect with his erection and he groans. my core heats again but i ignore it and try to pretending to still be asleep but he knows i am awake. he kisses the top of my head and then slow kisses me below my ear, down my neck and outing my collarbone.
Nate: i know your awake
i can hear him grinning in his voice. i turn facing him. we stare at each other. he kisses my lips and i cant help but let him kiss me over and over again.
Nate: Good Morning my sunlight
Selena: morning....Nate about last night
he stops and looks at me with his fully attention on me
Selena: you cant expect me to forgive you so quickly
Nate: i am not asking for your forgivenss
Sel i am asking for us to start over again my love please
he moves on top of me and my body freezes when i spot his ink on his forearm... i reach up to touch the numbers. he shievers when i touch him.. the numbers 03.21.20 inked on his skin gives me instantly chills... why does this Date look familiar ? i think really hard in my head and then i know ... i try and fail to cry as tears roll down on my face .. Nate concerned he gathers me in his arms again.. he gently soothes my hair as i cry in his arms
Nate: shhh its okay baby.. my love i am here
he kisses me and continues to hold me. as i continue to cry because i didnt know how much Nate really felt for me... this is how i know he loves me this is how i know he is mine... this is how you know a man really is in love with a woman.. when you tattoo's your angel baby birthday to his body.. 03.21.20 is my due date.. Daisy's Birthday. he still holds me tight and he tries but fails to hide his tears. i dont know how long we lay there on the bed... i fall asleep again and wake to the smell of food... i can head Mojo barking in the kitchen and Nate throwing the chew toy across the room. i hear both Nate and Mojo running in the kitchen. i hop out of bed put on my over sized white t shirt. i slowly walk to teh kitchen where Nate is still playing with Mojo. i stand in the door way watching them both. Mojo is alert and ready to pounce. Nate is on all fours with his back turned to me he is crawing towards Mojo trying to chase after him. the sight before me makes me giggle. Nate stops and glances behind him. he spots me smiles at me. i walk to the kitchen turn on the coffee marker, his arms wrap around me and i freeze trying to stay focus and continue to make my coffee. i sit on the kitchen stool and he follows me sitting next to me.
Selena: when did you get Daisy's
Nate: right after i found out Sel
he watches me pain flashing in his eyes and i can help it my eyes begin to water again. a tear falls down my face and he catches it with his finger.
Selena: why did you leave like ? was there someone esle?
Nate: because i thought it was the right thing to do ... Sel baby i made a mistake i thought me letting you go was for the best
he gets on his knees in front of me and continues speaking
Nate: there was no one but you ! for two years i refused to look at another woman that wasnt you.. when i didnt have my phone for thoses months in BMT i went crazy ! we were allowed to have our phone only one time and i texted you called you and you never responsed and then i went thru our pictures... i am a mad man Sel i want you i love you i want to be with you untill the end of time..
Selena: i dont know Nate...
He stands to his feet, he towers over me and i have to look up to look into his eyes. his glaze takes me in closely and he smiles down at me...
Nate: i actually really love the purple hair it brings out your beautiful eyes.
i blush red and quickly move away from him reaching for my coffee pouring it into my mug and taking a snip. he is still standing close to me. i look over at the stove where Nate yet again has cooked food. Nate made Chicken parm and my mouth waters and i frown when i look out the window at the dark sky.. ughh greatt i have to go to work
Nate: if your thinking that we have to go to work we actually dont Eric got called into a conference in Minnesota and he called me saying that we dont have to come in this week.
Selena: shit
Nate: what
Selena: what am i suppose to do for a the whole entire week
i make the mistake of looking at him and he smirkes at me. i roll my eyes at him
Nate: i could think of a million positions we can do
i turn red as a tomatoe and he reaches me pinning me to the wall. i try to take in a shakily breathe..
Selena: Nate... we cant stay here all week
Nate: why not
He is inches from my face, he brushes his nose against mine. my skin heats, my heart beats fast..
Selena: because my neighbors can hear us
Nate: So let them hear us ... let them hear you cum let them hear you scream my Name.. let them hear you moan in pleasure.
Selena: Nate ... (i giggle) stop i have eat
Nate puts me down on my feet and rusher me to the sit where he puts chicken parm, broccoli and my coffee near me. when he is done he places his plate next to me and kisses my cheek as he walks by... A week with Nate .. oh god what did i get myself into .. i look up from my plate.. Nate still staring at me and i am gloo ..... This week is going to be interesting.
