Chapter 4:Another Hogwarts feast another Hogwarts year

I arrived at the gate. I saw an old man with a long beard and sparkling blue eyes.

I assumed that he was professor Dumbledore. I walked up to him.

"Yes?" He asked his blue eyes twinkling at me.

"Are you Albus Dumbledore?" I asked.

"Ah you must be Corrine! May I say Harry really resembles you." He said.

"I mean of course he has his mothers eyes and looks so much like his father but I can really see you in him. The black hair really shows a lot in between you two." Dumbledore admired.

"Now...I want you to follow me to the great hall." He led me into the giant school.

We walked into a huge room filled with students and staff members.

"Welcome to Hogwarts." Dumbledore whispered to me.

I smiled.

I saw Harry at a long table and the jerk on the train at another.

"Follow me." Dumbledore instructed.

We walked down the isle of tables and curios faces.

"Stand here." Dumbledore and I walked up 3 steps and onto a higher platform.

"Welcome back to Hogwarts staff and students!" Dumbledore began.

"This year we are welcoming 2 new staff members!" He continued.

"Miss Evans will you please step forward!" I moved to the front of the platform where Dumbledore was.

"This is Corrine Evans...she will be assisting professor Slughorn. Another thing she is the aunt of Harry Potter!" Dumbledore waved me off to the side of the platform.

"This is professor Slughorn he will be your potions master for this year! Professor Snape will be your defense against the dark arts teacher this year!" After that comment,chatter and worry filled the room.

"May the feast begin!" He finished.

He walked over toward me.

"Now miss Evans you can sit at gryffindor or at the staff table...your choice."

"Um...I'll sit at gryffindor." I said.

I knew I wasn't really part if the staff,I mean I'm probably gonna learn more than teach this year.

I walked over to the gryffindor table and sat next to Harry.

"Tired?" He asked.

"Yeah." I answered.

Harry grinned at me but his expression kept changing to Ginny.

I sat there picking at my food.

"So another year at Hogwarts!" Hermione said out loud.

"Yeah." Ron agreed.

Harry shrugged and I yawned.

"Come on let's show Corrine the common room." Harry suggested.

"Ah but alas I have not told you or Corrine where she will be sleeping yet." Dumbledore came up behind us.

"Where is it then?" Ron asked.

I looked at Dumbledore.

"You will be sleeping in a new room in Hogwarts..." He explained.

"Would you four like to see it?" Dumbledore asked kindly.

We nodded our heads and got up to follow him.
