Jeonghan finished up his work late, the weight of the day still lingering on his shoulders as he stepped out of the Savor & Spices building.

The city was alive with its usual hustle and bustle, but at this hour, there was a certain serenity in the air that he found comforting.

He stood by the curb, waiting for a taxi to take him home.

It was getting quite late, and Jeonghan was aware that it might take some time before a taxi came by.

As he stood there, scrolling through his phone absentmindedly, he heard the distinct sound of a car engine approaching.

He looked up to see a sleek, black vehicle pulling over right next to him.

The tinted window rolled down to reveal Seungcheol, who was wearing a charming smile that lit up his face.

"Hey, Jeonghan! Need a ride?"

He called out, his tone casual but insistent.

Jeonghan hesitated for a moment.

He wasn't sure if accepting a ride from Seungcheol was a good idea, given the underlying tension between them.

However, the night was growing colder, and the streets were increasingly emptying out.

There weren't any taxis in sight, and he could feel the fatigue from the long day beginning to settle in his bones.

Seungcheol seemed to sense Jeonghan's reluctance and added,

"Come on, it's late. I'd feel better knowing you got home safely."

Jeonghan glanced around one last time before sighing and nodding.

"Alright, sir. I guess I could use a ride. Thanks."

A satisfied grin spread across Seungcheol's face as he unlocked the passenger side door.

Jeonghan slipped into the car, sinking into the comfortable leather seat with a soft sigh of relief.

The warm interior of the car was a stark contrast to the chilly night air outside.

As Seungcheol shifted the car into gear, merging smoothly into the light evening traffic, the air inside the vehicle was filled with a comfortable silence.

They were driving down the familiar streets of Seoul, illuminated by the gentle glow of streetlights and the occasional flicker of passing headlights.

Jeonghan gave directions to Seungcheol in a soft voice, his gaze focused on the road ahead as he guided him through the winding streets that led to his apartment.

"Take a left at the next intersection."

Jeonghan instructed quietly, breaking the silence with his calm direction.
