It was just another typical day at the office, or at least it seemed that way as Seungkwan and Vernon sat across from each other in the break room, each with a coffee cup in hand.
The rest of the team was scattered around the building, busy with their respective tasks, but anyone who had spent more than five minutes around Vernon and Seungkwan knew it wouldn't be long before the usual bickering started.
"Seriously, Vernon, you call this coffee?"
Seungkwan scoffed, wrinkling his nose in disdain as he took a sip from the cup Vernon had handed him.
"It's like you scooped it straight out of a swamp. How can you mess up something as simple as instant coffee?"
Vernon rolled his eyes, not even bothering to look up from his phone.
"It's not instant coffee, Seungkwan. I made it from the French press. You just don't appreciate good coffee."
"French press?"
Seungkwan mocked, crossing his arms and glaring at the dark liquid in his cup.
"More like French mess. It tastes like you ground up dirt and called it gourmet."
Vernon finally glanced up, giving Seungkwan a tired look.
"Maybe your taste buds are just broken."
Seungkwan gasped dramatically, his eyes widening in offense.
"Broken? My taste buds? Excuse me, but I have an impeccable palate! Unlike you, who thinks any black sludge you brew up is somehow the height of sophistication."
"Impeccable palate, huh?"
Vernon shot back, raising an eyebrow.
"Weren't you the one who said that pineapple on pizza was an 'abomination'?"
"It is!"
Seungkwan declared, leaning forward with all the fervor of a man defending his honor.
"Pineapple has no place on pizza. It's a violation of everything pizza stands for!"
Vernon leaned back in his chair, clearly amused by Seungkwan's indignation.
"And yet, millions of people around the world disagree with you. Including me. Maybe you're just in the minority with your terrible food opinions."
"Minority?"
Seungkwan clutched his chest dramatically.
"I'll have you know, the majority of sensible people agree with me. Pineapple doesn't belong on pizza, and this coffee you made doesn't belong in anyone's cup."
Vernon smirked, shaking his head.
"You're so stubborn, it's actually impressive."
"I'm not stubborn,"
