Jungkook's hands trembled as he stared at the shattered remnants of his home life. His father's angry words still echoed in the room, making his heart pound in his chest. The sight of his mother—battered, shaken, and silently enduring—twisted something deep inside him.

Jungkook: (voice shaky) "I—I'll clean it up."

Jungki: (yelling) "All I want is peace, but all I get is this whore's nagging. 'Where were you? What were you doing? Who were you with?' Every time I walk in, all I hear are these damn questions!"

He turned to glare at his wife, his anger pouring out.

Jungki: "Why should I even have to explain myself? WHO ARE YOU to question me about MY life?

With a final, furious glance, Jungkook's father stormed out of the room.

jungkook: what was the reason this time?

jia:(bitterly) "His girlfriend caught him with his other girlfriend. So, he's stressed, and of course, he takes it out on me. And me being foolish, I asked him where he'd been, and now I'm the one paying the price for it."

jungkook:(teary eyed)"Why can't we be like other families?"

Jia wiped her tears, her face still etched with pain, but her tone became softer.

Jia: "Just forget about it. Have you thought about... you know?"

Jungkook: (distracted) "Thought about what?"

Jia: "You know what I mean."

Jungkook hesitated, knowing exactly what she was referring to. It was something that had been hanging in the air for a long time.

Jungkook: (sighing) "I need time. I can't make this decision hastily."

His mother looked at him with a mixture of sadness and understanding.

Jia: "How is he? I mean... his behavior ?"

Jungkook looked away, his emotions too raw to discuss about anyone right now.

Jungkook: "Don't ask. Just... go rest. I'll take care of this mess."

After Jia left

Jia didn't argue. She stood up, moving slowly, her body aching from the abuse. As she left the room, Jungkook was left alone, surrounded by broken glass and shattered furniture. The mess was nothing compared to the wreckage inside him.

Once alone, the dam of his emotions broke. Tears he had been holding back streamed uncontrollably down his face. His voice, barely a whisper, was filled with anguish as he spoke to the empty room.

Jungkook :(mumbling to himself)"Why is everything so unfair? Why does it always have to be like this? It's like nothing ever changes.... Why can't we just be a normal family? Why do I have to keep dealing with this... this chaos? Why is my life always so tangled up? I just want things to be okay, just for once... but it's always the same, always falling apart."

He clutched his hands tightly, trying to hold himself together, but the weight of his emotions was overwhelming.

Taehyung's House

Taehyung walked into his house, feeling the familiar suffocation that came with being home.

Taehyung: "I'm home."

His mother, Minji, greeted him from the kitchen, her voice calm but tired.

Minji: "How was your day?"

Taehyung: (quietly) "Good."

Minji: "Your father's home today, so you better be quiet."

Taehyung tensed up at the mention of his father. He could hear the distant sound of the television in the living room, and soon enough, his father, Hyuwoon, called out to him.

Hyuwoon: "I heard you got second rank."

Taehyung froze, his heart racing as he felt his father's eyes boring into him.

Taehyung: (nervously) "Y-Yeah..."

Hyuwoon: (stern) "Are we falling short in any area?"

Taehyung: (quickly) "N-No."

Taehyung wanted to scream in his father's face, to tell him that providing money wasn't enough. He wanted to say that he needed more than just financial support—he needed love, understanding, encouragement. But his voice remained trapped in his throat.

Hyuwoon: (coldly) "Then why are you being so careless? Do you like wasting my money? If you don't want to continue your studies, just say the word. But it seems like you're not even trying."

Taehyung: (whispering) "Dad, it was just one test..."

Hyuwoon's face darkened, his voice growing more cutting.

Hyuwoon: "Now you're talking back? Wow, your mother really taught you to be disrespectful. Every test counts. When I was your age, I was excelling in everything—sports, studies, you name it. I didn't bust my ass for you to turn out like this. All you have to do is study, but you act like an ungrateful brat!"

Taehyung: (stammering) "S-Sorry—"

Hyuwoon: (snapping) "Get out of my sight! FUCKER!"

Taehyung rushed to his room, slamming the door behind him. His heart pounded in his chest, the pressure inside him building like a storm. He slumped onto his bed, burying his face in his hands. His father's words echoed in his head, each one cutting deeper than the last.

Taehyung: (angry, to himself) "If Jungkook didn't exist, maybe my dad wouldn't care so much. It's so easy for him... I'm sure he doesn't have a dad breathing down his neck, expecting him to be perfect."

The jealousy and frustration boiled over. He imagined Jungkook's perfect life—how effortless everything seemed for him. He was the top student now, while Taehyung was the disappointment.

Taehyung: (whispering) "I'm just the kid who can't live up to his dad's expectations. I'm never enough."

Tears stung his eyes, and he couldn't hold them back anymore. He let the sobs out, choking on his own emotions as he lay curled up on his bed, feeling completely and utterly alone. The weight of everything—his father's disappointment, his own failures, his envy of Jungkook—crushed him until he felt like he couldn't breathe.

For both Jungkook and Taehyung, the weight of their families' expectations and the chaos of their lives felt unbearable. Both boys, in different homes, in different rooms, cried alone—unseen, unheard, and overwhelmed by the pressure of lives that seemed to be unraveling faster than they could hold them together.
