Taehyung's POV

Taehyung slouched in his chair, a wide grin on his face. "Man, did you see the last episode of Demon Slayer? Muzan's entry was insane!"

Jimin leaned forward, excitement sparkling in his eyes. "I know, right? My mouth was open wide like my teeth could fall out any second! Totally worth watching."

"Totally!" Taehyung nodded enthusiastically. "And when the Hashiras came in, I was squealing like a girl! And Zenitsu—when he opened his eyes, I was thunderstruck!"

Taehyung chuckled, then shifted the conversation. "Speaking of opening eyes, I heard you stayed up late last night. How's that massive essay coming along?"

Jimin groaned, flopping back in his chair. "Ugh, don't remind me. I haven't even started! It's like every time I sit down to work on it, I just stare at the blank screen and get overwhelmed."

Taehyung sighed, a sympathetic smile on his face. "I feel you. I've got a pile of assignments too, and it's like they're breeding. The more I finish, the more seem to appear!"

Jimin grinned, leaning back with a laugh. "Yeah, it's like magic! But hey, you're always so on top of things with your crazy schedule and events. How do you even manage it?"

Taehyung shrugged, a hint of uncertainty creeping into his voice. "Honestly, sometimes I don't know. I just try to stay busy. It keeps me from thinking too much about, you know, other stuff."

Jimin raised an eyebrow, curious. "Other stuff? Like what?"

Taehyung hesitated, his smile fading slightly. "Just... stuff. Sometimes I feel like I'm running around trying to keep everyone happy, and I forget to check in with myself. It's weird, you know?"

"Yeah, I get that," Jimin replied thoughtfully. "It's like you're always doing things for everyone else but forget to take a breather. You're like a social whirlwind!"

Taehyung laughed, the tension easing. "Hey, I like that—social whirlwind! But seriously, it feels like I'm putting on a show sometimes, and I'm not sure if anyone actually sees the real me."

Jimin nodded, sympathy in his eyes. "I hear you. It's easy to get caught up in the spotlight and forget to check how you're really doing. If you ever need to talk or just hang out, you know I'm here, right?"

"Thanks, Jimin. That means a lot. It's good to know I've got someone who gets it."

Just then, a girl entered the classroom, her gaze scanning the room.

"Who is Kim Taehyung?" she asked.

Taehyung raised his hand, and the girl continued, "The principal is calling for you."

"Bye, Jiminie! Let's meet at the canteen later!" Taehyung called as he headed out.

In the Principal's Office

"Hey, Taehyung, come in. This is your new classmate," the principal said, gesturing to a boy standing by the door. "Show him around and show him his desk. He'll start tomorrow."

"Hey, let's go! I'll show you around," Taehyung said, a friendly smile on his face.

"This is the nurse's office, and here's the library. If you go straight and then left, there's the canteen. Our class is on the second floor, so let me show you our classroom and your desk. By the way, how old are you?"

Silence hung in the air, the boy's expression unreadable.

"Uh, we're here. The desk at the very back is yours," Taehyung said, feeling a bit awkward. "Do you have any work with the principal, or are you going home? If that's the case, I can escort you to the exit gate."

"No need," the boy replied coolly, turning to walk away.

Taehyung stood at the entrance of the classroom, feeling slightly thrown off. "Tell me your name, at least?"

"Fuck off," the boy shot back, not looking back.
