"Husky! Look at me..!"
Husk barely opened his eyes and gave Angel a gentle smile, grasping his hands into his own. A tear rolled down his cheek as he whispered, his voice raspy.
"You're my... My world... Don't ever forget.. me...."
A final breath was heard from him before his chest stopped moving and Angel knew.
"I expect you to be back home tonight." Valentino growled, dropping the gun on the ground before walking away.
Angel picked up the gun with wide eyes, tears still overflowing his eyes. A small smile went on his face as he shakily pointed the gun towards his face.
"Fuck! Fuck, fuck, fuck!" He shouted, throwing the gun at the wall and curling up.
Footsteps could be heard, as well as overlapping voices. "Where are they?" "Are they hurt?" "I hope their alright."
"Angel dust..?" Vaggie whispered. He got up and felt like running to his friends but was stopped with an angelic spear.
"Did you do this?"
"What?" Angel said in disbelief, "why would I kill Husk..?"
"Let's not jump to conclusions, babe." Charlie said, lowering the spear, "did you do it?"
"No!" He shouted, more tears forming in his eyes, "I loved that man! And now you're blaming me for his death?!"
The spider fell to his knees, taking in another look at Husk.
"Look, I'm sorry but you were the only one here with him." Vaggie said, Angie felt a pain in his stomach and stood up. Without a second to spare, he picked up Val's gun and walked away.
"Angel, wait!" Charlie yelled, but Angel didn't listen. His heart was heavy and he didn't know what it was. Husk. . A cat, a black gambling cat. That's what Angel fell in love with and he proudly told himself, I'd do it again.
All four of his arms hugged his body as he shivered. Making his way back to the studio. He staggered a bit and his eyes were red and puffy so he could barely see.
Once at the front of the tower, he collapsed.
