Chapter 17: The Unknown Path

Valentino walked out of the tower, spotting Angel on the ground. He smiled softly and picked up Angel.

Valentino had feelings for Angel for a while but his sadistic side always seemed to kick in while Angel was awake.

The tall moth held Angel bridal style in his arms, his head pressed against the short one's hair. He brought him inside.

Vox spotted Val holding Angel and seemed a bit relieved to have the spider back. The two tall guys walked into Angel's room and set him down. Val touched Angel's cheek softly. Angel moved his face. The moth made a small squeak before getting up and walking out of the room leaving Angel Dust alone.

~10-14 minutes later~

Angel sat up straight in a panick as he awoke from a nightmare, little did he know, he was living in his own nightmare.

He panted, looking around. A knock was heard on his door before Val walked in, "amorcito. I've got this stupid pet and all your shit... You're not going back to that shitty hotel with Lucifer's little bitch to protect you."

He took a breath to calm himself down as he looked at Angel. He walked towards him and placed three bags, one bag filled with clothes, another with his belongings, and the last a makeup bag. Without saying another thing he turned around and left, shutting and locking the door behind him.

Angel, still not fully awake, blinked his eyes. Processing the words that had come out of Val's mouth.

Once he had felt like he was fully awake he looked at Fat Nuggets.

"Nuggs.." He whispered, leaning down from the bed and picking up the pet pig. Fat Nuggs oinked. Angel Dust turned towards his bags and dug through his belongings. "I think I have a picture of your daddy somewhere.."

Fat Nuggets's attention turned towards Angel's hand, trying to get a peak of the person Angel was talking about.

"Ah.. Here it is." He pulled out a picture of Husk and the two stared at it for a while.

~Flashback, four days earlier~

.
Husk laughed. "A pet pig, huh? I guess it's cute." He booped Fat Nuggets on the nose.

"He isn't just cute, babe, he's adorable." Angel leaned against Husk's shoulder, petting Fat Nuggets.

The smell of a light perfume filled the air, this scent seemed to make the room feel light, like it was full of energy but calm at the same time. It felt warm and safe in the room, something Angel only feels in the hotel, mostly in Husk's arms.

Angel gave Husk a quick kiss on the cheek before placing another on Fat Nuggs's forehead.

A happy snort came from the pig as it jumped into Husk's arms.

"Husk..." Angel whispered, "promise me one thing.."

"And that is?"

"Stay with me, forever.. Or as long as you possibly can."

Husk smiled and let out a small chuckle. "Sure babe.. Forever sounds way too little though, how about infinity.." "Infinity?" Angel squeaked, he arched an eyebrow.

"We'll love each for infinity. I don't see how it can be quite difficult for even you to comprehend."

"It isn't.. I was just surprised you would say that. I never thought you were willing to tie down so fast."

"Usually not, but when it comes to you... I just feel like you're the one."

Angel felt his cheeks heat up and he looked at Husk. They both locked eyes and leaned in, their soft lips pressing against each other's. It felt like it was those two against the world.. That is until Nuggs ruined the kiss with him bouncing around the bed, feeling left out.

They looked at Nuggets then back to each other, letting out a few laughs.

~End of flashback~

Angel's eyes welled up with tears as he held Fat Nuggets close.

"Infinity..." He whispered, "me and you Nuggs, it's just us two again.."

A sad oink was heard from the pig as well as a sniffle. Fat Nuggets began to start crying, and Angel had followed suite.

Both had cried, either for the same reasons or different reasons, maybe both. They cried, holding each other close.
