Chapter 21: Drama Karma

The morning air was able to send shivers down the blonde's spine. The cold air cooling down her lungs as she walked around the west of the Pride ring. Perhaps it was too soon, but she had to find him. She hated herself for blaming him. It wasn't right she told herself.

Maybe if she believed him and didn't make such an accusation against him that day he would still be there. She shook her head, "no! I can't think like that." She said in her head. She stopped in her tracks, taking the black hood off her head and looking around. "Angel? Angeell!" Her voice rang in the empty streets.

What was she thinking? It was 6:00 am in the morning! No one would be awake except for those wannabe overlords.

From the shadows a raspy growl. "You're looking for Angel Dust?" A spider asked, putting his cigarette out. Charlie smiled and sighed in relief. "Yes!" She said in a voice now filled with joy.

"Tough luck, 'Tony is hard to find, I should know.." His gaze trailed off before looking back at the princess.

"Tony..? I'm sorry you must be confused."

"Nah, just disappointed." Arackniss stepped into the light. "My name is Arackniss, I'm To-- Angel's brother.."

Charlie was silent for a moment processing this new information. She opened her mouth to speak but Arackniss was already talking.

"Angel won't be found around here or at the Vee tower. I've already checked. He must be at some friends." Arackniss searched Charlie's eyes for a look. A look that made it seem like she would know who that friend might be.

"Hmm.." She gently slammed her fist into her palm. Then it hit her. "Cherri Bomb!"

"Cherri Bomb..?" Arackniss said, looking down in a bit of shock. He knew Cherri through Angel, though her real name was Charity. She worked with Angel and helped the family with heists, using her bombs to explode the doors of vaults.

"Ah, do you know her?" Charlie's eyes sparkled. "Sorry I don't." He said in a rather bored look.

Charlie's smile had fallen and she looked scared. "Oh my gosh, I have to figure out how to find Angel!" Charlie began to have a rant, yapping about all the possible ways to find the white spider. "And why are you so interested in 'Tony?" Arackniss raised a brow, growling slightly at the end of his sentence.

"He's a friend and I pushed him away when I shouldn't have.." She softly whispered. Arackniss just nodded before walking away. He paused and turned to look at Charlie. "C'mon blondie, we ain't goin' ta find 'Tony just moping around."

Charlie's eyes gleamed with hope and she smiled before nodding. She walked over towards Arackniss and then the two started walking.

~A few hours later~

The blonde princess and the black spider both sat on a bench, panting. "Seriously, Angel, where are you?!" She yelled out into the hell city. Arackniss closed his eyes, trying to catch his breath.

A woman appeared out of thin air, her face blurred. " 'niss.. Don't tell me you're going on another heist!" Then a figure of a human Arackniss appeared. "I have to do this--" the mouth of the human version of Arackniss moved but silence covered any audio he might have heard.

"'Niss, why don't you leave this to Anthony?" She said, reaching her hard out to push hair out of Arackniss's face. Human Arackniss slapped away the hand, the loud noise and a faint scream from the woman caused him to open his eyes. But he wasn't on the bench anymore, he was in a room. He stepped out of the room and looked around. It seems like he was in a hotel?

He found an elevator, taking it down to the main floor and spotting the blonde princess he had met earlier that morning. Beside the princess was a shorter gray-haired woman and a taller red-color-themed man.

"Ah, you're awake." Charlie smiled. Arackniss replied with a nod, looking around and resting his eyes on a picture of a snake.

Vaggie followed Arackniss's gaze before looking down sadly. "His name was Sir Pentious, he died in the last extermination.." Niss looked away, he didn't say anything and instead walked towards the door. Charlie stood up.

"Wait!" She took a few steps forward, her one word made him stop in his tracks. "Please, we need your help finding Angel." Arackniss wanted to walk out the door but hesitated, he growled softly before turning around and looking at Alastor, Niffty,  Vaggie, and Charlie. He growled again, louder this time. "Fine, let's find my stupid brother."
