It was the night before the party, and I was fucking stressed. Jade had been calling me back-to-back, asking if she can still attend like the answer was so fucking obvious. But Kai tells me it's good for the media and shit. I didn't care for the media.
I sat in my hotel room until I heard arguing coming from the other room. as much as I'm paying for this hotel room, I would think their walls would be a little thicker. I walked to the living room of the hotel and turned on the tv. I don't normally watch tv, but I didn't have any other choice right now.

"I told her to leave but she beat me to your door" my manager said. I turned away from him as I looked down at Jade. She wore a black tube top with light wide jeans. One of my favorite outfits of hers.

"Zryan, can we just talk please?" she begs. She's been contacting me nonstop trying to apologize, beg, and even bribe me. "There's nothing to talk about" I say firmly. "You need to leave now!" my manager says. "Shut up old man!" Jade claps back.
As they went back and forth, I noticed someone familiar walking past. She looks at the arguing two and then looks up at me. She wore a grey tube top that was covered with a grey jacket with grey sweatpants. Her dark curly hair slicked back, and she had no makeup on.
We caught each other's eye, not knowing what to do now. I then saw Jade turn around and look at her, along with my manager. "What the hell are you looking at?" Jade says to Serenity. Serenity looks at her with a dumbfounded look. We all suddenly get silent, so I decide to say something. "Serenity, come here" I say. My manager and Jade turned back to me and then towards Serenity, who walked towards my door. as she made it to my door, she stood Infront of me and started to look up into my eyes. but that didn't last long since I turned her around to face the two. "Jade, this is the reason we have nothing to talk about. So, leave" I say. Jade looks at me with a stunned look as my manager sneaks inside my room. I then shut the door in her face.
I stared at the door for a few more seconds before I looked down at Serenity, who was also staring at the door. "you're going to have to stay in here for a while" I say. She then looks up at me with her same stunned look. I then walked away to my room and shut the door behind me, leaving her and my manager in the living room.
What I just did was completely fucking stupid. Jade has the biggest mouth when it comes to telling anything that would go viral.
This would be perfect for her.
An hour had passed since my last interaction with Jade. She thought coming to my door was going to do something? Jesus, I now know better than to date a "upcoming popstar". It's been 2 years since she said that.
As I lay in my bed, I get a knock at my door. "Come in" I say. The door opens and reveals Serenity. Shit, I forgot she was here. We stare at each other until she speaks. "Can I stay here for tonight?" she asks. Now I was giving her a dumbfounded look. I know that I just practically claimed her without claiming her to Jade, but that doesn't mean I want her. "No" I say. "Alright, well if you want me to get killed by your ex-girlfriend, then I'll be on my way" she says. "What?" I say confused. She then points to the window that shows the parking lot of the hotel. I went to the window and saw Jade was still here, sitting in her car that I bought her. Fuck, now she probably will have to stay. I already sent my security to their rooms so they can get rest and my manager. At least this place has 2 bedrooms.
"Fine, but you're sleeping in the other room" I say. She nods her head as she closes the door behind her. I throw myself onto my bed and take deep breaths. Today was very unexpected and now I must always stay alert.
It was currently 2 AM and I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. I sighed annoyed and closed my eyes to go try and go back to sleep. As I laid there, I heard a noise coming from the kitchen. I sit up and listen out for other noises. I keep hearing them. I get out of my bed and walk out of my room to see Serenity in the kitchen getting water. I forgot she was here.
She still had on her grey jacket, but it was zipped up this time. I also noticed that she didn't have on her sweatpants, but her jacket was big enough to cover her whole body. I realized that she doesn't have any pants underneath.
I didn't realize I was staring at her for long until she spoke. "Sorry I woke you, I just got thirsty" she says. She quickly drinks her water and then places her glass in the sink. Before she could walk back to her room, I stopped her. "Are you leaving soon?" I say. She turns back to me with a tired expression on her face. "Yea, I have to get ready for that party later today" she says. Shit, the party was technically today.
"Before you go, I need you to do something" I say. She looks at me with a confused expression before I walk to my room, making her wait outside for me.
