Aarish Yazeed Khan :

Today is friday and I've lots of work to do.

I took a long shower. I wrapped a towel around my torso and got out of my washroom. I wiped my head as I went to my closet and picked a black Panjabi/Kurta and black denims. I wore it. Then I wear a halal perfume. It's a sunnah of our prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) to wear fragrance on Jummah day.

I opened a drawer which was full with my watch collection. After a good 2 mins I picked the Rolex one.

After getting ready, I went downstairs.

"Assalamualaikum," I said to Mom and kissed her cheeks she smiled and said "Walaikum Assalam, aww my son is looking so handsome," she said and kissed my forehead.

"Mom, your son was born being handsome," I said with a sinister smile. And Mom smiled.

"Oho Khalamoni(Aunty), just look at me, I'm more handsome than your son," I heard Zishaan yelling from the main door.

Zishaan Sayeed is my maternal cousin. He is 3 years younger than me. He is running his father's business. I won't say he is my best friend because I hate that word. He is like my own lil brother. And he knows everything about me. Our families are really close. He always supported me in my ups and downs.

"Look the joker has come," I whispered to my Mom and she chuckled.

"Bhai you know I can hear you," He said and raised his eyebrow.

"Oh I'm so scared!" I said sarcastically and he glared at me.

"Actually, Zishu is right he is looking more handsome then Aaru," Mom said making me scowl. And that brat smirked.

"Mom, I think you need glasses, and don't call me by that name my name is Aa- ri- sh, Aarish," I said calmly. And Zishaan gasped.

Such a Drama queen.

"Look aunty how he is talking to you," he said and Mom chuckled and said "No my dear son, My eyes are absolutely fine and I will never stop calling you Aaru," she said with determination.

I just hate that name its sounds so damn girly.

I sighed.

"Okay I'm going to Masjid its getting late, bye Mom," I said and picked my car keys.

"Aree wait for me," Zishaan screamed.

After jummah prayer I went to my home and Zishaan went to his home.

Me, Dad and Mom sat on the dining table to eat lunch.

"So guys we are going to Hossain's house," Dad said and I looked at him.

Who is Hossain?

"Hossain bhai? Asif he is your best friend right?" Mom asked and Dad nodded.

"So why are we going there?" Asked Mom.

"They invited us." He said.

"Okay you guys can go, I will do my office works," I said stuffing a spoon full of rice in my mouth.
