The mer people who had ventured outside the safety of the water, were suddenly targeted by an onslaught of vampires hailing from the Kingdom of Sanguine.
Yes, as it was planned, the vampires of Sanguine, under the orders of their King, assaulted the vulnerable mer people from the Serene Sea, intent on satiating their bloodlust and engaging in a nightmarish feast.
The unexpected onslaught from the vampires took the mer people by surprise, their peaceful lives shattered in an instant. Cries and chaos echoed through the air as the once-quiet mer kingdom transformed into a scene of terror and violence.
The sight of the attack was a frenzy of bloodthirsty fangs and scales. The once peaceful celebration turned into a nightmarish scene as the vampires struck mercilessly at the mer people, their crimson eyes gleaming with a thirst for blood.
In the chaos that ensued, the mer people tried fought back, displaying fierce determination and courage. Spears and tridents clashed with sharp fangs but theg failed.
As the battle continued, panic spread among the mer people, their screams of terror and distress cutting through the air. The once peaceful shores of the Serene Sea were now stained with the blood of the fallen mer people.
There were countless mermaids and mermen lay lifeless on the sand. The vampires showed no mercy and continued to overpower the weakened merpeople.
Meanwhile, deep within the water, the news of the former king's death went unheeded, leaving the mer people unaware of their great loss when they were already fighting for their live outside of the water.
