After departing from the throne room, Jungkook headed to the dungeon in search of his friend Mingyu.

As he made his way through the dimly lit dungeons, Jungkook's footsteps echoed off the stone walls. The flickering torches cast eerie shadows throughout the corridors, making it difficult to navigate the winding passageways. However, his determination to find Mingyu propelled him forward, undeterred by the unsettling atmosphere surrounding him.

After trudging through the labyrinthine passageways, Jungkook finally arrived at the heart of the dungeon. He paused for a moment, taking in his surroundings and listening carefully for any signs of his friend.

The cold, damp air clung to his skin, leaving a chill that seemed to seep into his very bones. Undeterred, he pressed on, resolute in his quest to locate his friend.

Following a particularly winding turn in the corridor, Jungkook found himself in a secluded room. There, in the dimly lit space, he spotted a figure huddled in the corner, their form half-hidden in shadow. Approaching cautiously, he called out in a hushed voice.

"Mingyu?"

The figure in the corner stirred at the sound of his voice, lifting their head to reveal the face of his friend. Relief instantly washed over Jungkook as he recognized Mingyu, safe and relatively unharmed.

"Jungkook?" Mingyu murmured, his voice rough from disuse.

Jungkook rushed to Mingyu's side, kneeling down beside him. "Thank goodness, you're okay," he breathed, a weight lifting off his shoulders.

Mingyu spoke up in a desperate tone, "Where were you, Jungkook? Why did it take you so long?"

The merman King smacked on mingyu's head and scolded, "Why did you come here, idiot? And why did Jimin send a fool like you?"

Mingyu retorted angrily, "What do you mean by 'fool' like me? I saved you from being killed by the bloodsucking king. You should show some appreciation!"

The merman king scoffed and retorted, "Now thanks to you, I'm in even more danger. Don't you understand the strength of my abilities? That bloodsucker couldn't have killed me easily."

Mingyu huffed in exasperation, "I was just trying to help! How was I supposed to know he couldn't kill you?"

Disregarding Mingyu's protest, the merman king interrupted, "Enough idiot! We need to find a way out of this hell as soon as possible. Stop this bickering and focus."

Mingyu grumbled under his breath but subsided, realizing the urgency of their situation. They both fell silent for a moment, each lost in their thoughts as they contemplated potential escape routes.

As Mingyu and the merman king contemplated their next move, they were startled by the sudden appearance of Namjoon. Mingyu let out a frightened yelp, while the merman king quickly stood up, positioning himself protectively between them and Namjoon. Anger blazed in the merman king's blue eyes as he glared at Namjoon.

"What do you want?" The merman king demanded, his voice laced with a mixture of hostility and anger.

Namjoon's emotionless demeanor belied the authority in his tone as he inquired, "Where is His Majesty? What were you two doing in the throne room?"

The merman king's jaw clenched at the question, his blue eyes narrowed with defiance. "That's none of your concern," he retorted coldly.

The merman king shot back with a smug grin, "If you're so curious, why don't you ask His Majesty what I did with him? I'm sure he can fill you in on the details." The sarcasm in his tone was palpable.
