"Darling, your ignorance
Is harsher than
The death itself"3 days Later
It was already 3 days and Taehyung had been ignoring June and Jennie from the first day. He even talked less with others. He went back to his cold and silent days. It was being unbearable for everyone. The mansion fell silent taking out its life.
Despite living in the same room and on the same bed, Taehyung didn't have any words with her. June tried numerous times to talk to him but he always ignored or left the room. He acted as if she had never existed. His ignorance wasn't justified. She was ready to bear his anger, rage but not his ignorance; also when she was trying her best to make it up to him. June was breaking down from inside.
Everyone was having their breakfast in total pitchy silence. Only the sound of utensils echoed around.
"Umm Taehyung, do you perhaps know Sung Juseok?" Seokjin asked while cutting the burrata.
"Hmm. He's an old business partner of ours", Taehyung said, "What's with him suddenly?"
"Oh nothing! He came to the hospital yesterday. His wife is sick, most probably suffering from blood cancer. We had a talk last night when he mentioned you", Seokjin replied.
"That's grievous. He's a good man", Taehyung casually said gulping his food.
"Oh, June! What did you make today?" Hoseok exclaimed from his seat.
June was marching towards the table with a bowl in her hands, smiling softly, "Mango sticky rice for today."
"Ummmm! Smells so good! Serve me fast!" Jimin forwarded his plate.
"This type of food is very harmful for health. You shouldn't eat them", Seokjin sternly said and looked at June with puppy eyes, "Leave them, sweetheart. Serve me first!"
"Oldies are later", Jennie stuck out her tongue.
June couldn't help laughing at their bickerings, "Alright, alright! Calm down! There is a lot, okay? I'll serve one by one", saying she started serving from a side.
Though June kept her demeanour, her heartbeat quickened as she went closer to Taehyung. He always loved her desserts. Not only desserts but also everything she made. And he'd the one always nagging to try first. But he was quiet today, keeping himself busy in other things.
When June was about to serve Taehyung, he stopped her showing his hand, "I don't want it." He didn't even look at her, his gaze fixed on his plate.
June's heart shattered into pieces as he denied to try the dessert. She knew he was mad but she didn't expect him to be so cold that he wouldn't even try her handmade food.
"W-why? I tried it for the first time. You sh-should give this a little try, like others", she managed to say as sweetly as possible.
Taehyung turned his face to her directly piercing into her orbs, "Then you should serve others, as you seem too determined to fulfill other's wishes nowadays. You shouldn't think about me."
June didn't take a moment to realize what Taehyung meant. He literally taunted her indirectly which led her feelings winch in pain. She turned steel but her inside was being destroyed with forceful pain. And Jennie wanted to shove the hot soup on his face. Jennie didn't mind much about his behaviour as she was used to it, but he was being a total jerk with June. She couldn't bear her brother's mistreatments.
