Teen Romance (Toge Inumaki X Reader)

After you took a bath, you laid down comfortably in your bed. Just when you were about to fall asleep, your phone buzzed. With a sigh, you turned to the other side and took your phone from the bedside table. When you saw who your message was from, you quickly sat up in bed, your eyes enlarged.

Toge Inumaki:
Hey, I'm sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable earlier :/

You laid back down on your stomach, your feet were swinging in the air. You smiled at the fact how concerned and thoughtful Inumaki was. You wondered what to answer.

You:
No, no you didn't
Dw

Toge Inumaki:
Do you want to come over and play video games?
Take it as my way of apologising to you lol

You:
No need to apologise
On my way tho

You quickly left your bed and stood in front of your wardrobe. You put on your best pajamas and put your hair in a messy bun. You wanted to look good, but you didn't want to look like you tried. You showered in your best perfume and made your way over to his room.

After the first knock, the door opened wide. It looked like Inumaki was waiting for you at the door. He moved away so you could come in and closed the door behind you.

He had placed two pillows on the ground in front of the TV. In front of them were several bowls of snacks and two cups of juice. He had arranged a few games that you could choose from.

You turned to him. He wore gray sweatpants and a white baggy T-shirt. His hair fell on his forehead and was slightly damp. You realised that you were staring at him and said "So what are we playing?"

He showed you his phone on which it said 'You can choose'. Toge was prepared for everything, you thought.

"How about your favourite game?" you took your place on the pillow closer to the wall. Inumaki sat next to you and handed you one of the controllers.

He started the game and you began playing. You were determined to win no matter of the cost. Even if that meant cheating.

You were starting to lose, so it was time for plan B. You looked at Toge who was extremely focused on the game. You nudged him with your index finger on his waist, causing him to jump im his place and drop the controller. He looked at you with a confused and shocked look. You didn't pay attention to him, but focused on the game.

"Yes, I won." you happily announced. When you turned to Inumaki, you noticed that he hadn't moved since the moment he dropped the controller and watched you with a smile.

"Hey, you good?" you nudged him on the shoulder, making him snap back in reality.

"Salmon." he awkwardly looked away and scratched the back of his head. You noticed him slightly blushing.

"So now that I've beaten you at your game, I guess it's time to go?" you said not really wanting to leave. Somewhere deep down you wanted Inumaki to insist for you to stay.

"Bonito flakes!" he shook his head no. He wanted you to stay, too. Toge grabbed his phone and his fingers started quickly typing. After a few seconds he handed you his phone, on which it said 'I thought that maybe we could watch a movie'

"Hah, sure. The movie better be good." you smiled joyfully. He got up and went to the TV next to which there were two movies, he took them and lifted them into the air so that you could choose. One of the movies was 'a silent voice' and the other was 'I want to eat your pancreas'.

"This one." you pointed at the second one and Toge put the CD into the CD-player. You moved back closer to the bed and leaned against it.

Inumaki grabbed a blanket and sat down next to you. He covered you with the blanket and put the bowl of popcorn on his lap. You were watching the movie in complete silence. Unintentionally, you touched Inumaki's hand twice while picking up popcorn. You both looked at each other with scarlet cheeks and ashamed to death.

It was getting late and you couldn't hold back your yawn. You rested your head on Inumaki's shoulder and snuggled closer to him. Inumaki's eyes widened and he looked at you in shock. When he realised that you were asleep, he tried to stay as still as possible so as not to wake you up, he was barely breathing.

At this point he wasn't paying any attention to the movie, he was way too busy staring at you. This was the moment when he realised he had started catching feelings for you.

After a while, Inumaki's eyelids became heavy and he closed his eyes, resting his head on yours. He wrapped an arm around your waist and fell asleep.
