Teen Romance (Toge Inumaki X Reader)

A month ago you had graduated from Tokyo Jujutsu High and you had moved in with Inumaki. You've been together for a few years now, and you haven't met his parents yet. That's why this Christmas Inumaki decided to visit his family and celebrate with them.

It was very cold outside and there was a lot of snow. When you left the apartment and headed for the car, Inumaki stopped and wrapped a scarf around your neck. It was a green scarf that smelled like Toge, you loved it.

"Thanks, love." you said as he opened the door for you. You climbed in the passenger seat and connected your phone to the aux.

A few hours later, you arrived in front of the family house of the Inumaki clan. At the door you were greeted by the older brother of Toge.

"Hi, I'm (y/n) (y/l/n)." you shook his hand.

"Araki Inumaki." he introduced himself and you went inside. He took you to the living room where their father and mother were sitting. They stood up when they saw you and shook your hand as you introduced yourself. Their parents were very nice people.

You had arrived just in time for dinner, so you went to the dining room and sat down to eat. You felt nervous and didn't know how to act. You understood when Toge tried to tell you something, but the rest of his family communicated in a completely different way and you didn't understand anything.

Toge noticed that you were nervous because your hand was shaking while you were eating. He put his hand on your thigh under the table, trying to comfort you. You looked at him and he gave you the most genuine and comforting smile to ever exist. You calmed down a bit.

After dinner, you helped his mother put away the table and wash the dishes. While you were drying the last plate with a cloth, Toge came to the kitchen and hugged you from behind. His mother smiled at you and left.

Your boyfriend rested his chin on your shoulder and whispered in your ear "I love you." you put the plate down and turned around.

"I love you too." you put your hands around his neck. Toge gave you a peck on the lips and leaned his forehead against yours.

"Do you think they liked me?" you asked nervously.

"Salmon." he pulled you closer to himself.

"I hope so." as you said Toge grabbed your hand and together you made your way outside.

On the porch there was a bench swing. You sat down and covered yourselves with a blanket. Inumaki wrapped his arm around your shoulders and you relaxed your head on his shoulder. He kissed the top of your head and pointed towards the night sky.

"What?" you looked up and just then fireworks when out. But they weren't just any fireworks, on the sky was written 'Will you marry me'

You gasped, your eyes glued to the sky. You felt your eyes fill with tears and a big smile appeared on your face. You took Inumaki's hand and turned to him. He was already looking at you and you could see the worry in his eyes.

"Hm, I need to think about it." you said seriously and watched as his face dropped. He looked away, his eyes tearing. With a chuckle you put your hand on his cheek and forced him to look at you.

"I'm kidding. I'd love to marry you." a single tear rolled down your cheek, which you hurried to wipe off.

Toge's eyes lit up and he pulled you in a tight hug. After a few minutes he pulled away just to lean back towards you and kiss you passionately.
