I WALK AROUND THE AREA OUTSIDE OF PADMÉ'S ROOM. The living room is quiet and Anakin walks there. We haven't spoken, neither of us have uttered a single word to each other. It's not important for us to engage in conversation, it will do nothing to help the mission.
I've been having to maintain a constant shield around my mind, this pull, this magnetic feeling is drawing me to something. But I need to stop it, and my mind is in pain from the strong sensation.
Master Kenobi makes his way from the elevator. "Captain Typho has more than enough men downstairs. No assassin would try that way." He says and I look at him. "Any activity up here?" He asks his Padawan and I. "Quiet as a tomb." Anakin explains with a glance back at me.
"I don't like just waiting here for something to happen to her." Anakin says and Master Kenobi tries to access the cameras. "What's going on?" He asks and I continue to walk around outside of Padmé's door. "She covered the cameras. She didn't want to be watched as she slept." I say and Master Kenobi walks over to me.
"What on earth was she thinking?" He asks and Anakin walks after him. "She programmed R2 to warm us if there is an intruder." Anakin says and I feel something change in the force. I freeze, turning my attention to the door. I focus on everything going on inside of the room.
I tune out Master Kenobi and Anakin's words. A hum surrounds me and I feel something in the force, which allows me to see what will happen. There's a droid, it allows Kouhuns to slip onto her room. The two Kouhuns try and assassinate her in her sleep.
In a moment, I've opened the door and ignited my saber. I rush towards the window and slice the Kouhuns as they start to leave the droid. Pink lights up the room from my lightsaber. Padmé gasps awake and Master Kenobi comes rushing into the room with Anakin.
Master Kenobi rushes past me and jumps out of the window, grabbing onto the droid as it makes its way to leave. I turn off my saber, turning towards Padmé. "Stay here." I call out and rush past Anakin who soon follows behind me.
The two of us quickly make our way to get a speeder. Anakin spots a yellow one and jumps inside the driver seat and I make my way into the passenger side. I close my eyes, keeping in tune with the force as I feel around for Master Kenobi.
"Go forward and lower!" I call out and manage to pinpoint him through the force. The speeder picks up speed and goes rushing forwards. I grip onto the front of the speeder, squeezing my eyes tighter. Anakin lets out a slight laugh at my reaction and I can see Master Kenobi through the force.
I can see him fall and someone hurriedly rushing away, I memorise the speeder and the area it rushes off to.
"Drop! He's going to fall!" I yell out and the speeder falls forwards, dropping down suddenly. I yelp slightly and open my eyes, spotting Master Kenobi who free falls through the air. My curls hit me in the face harshly and I move backwards, turning around.
