I WATCH THE HOLOGRAPH OF MASTER KENOBI WITH MY ARMS FOLDED OVER MY CHEST. Anakin stands beside me whilst Padmé sits in a chair opposite the hologram. "Etta, Anakin, my long-range transmitter has been knocked out. Retransmit this message to Coruscant." Padmé spins around in the chair and presses a button.
"I have tracked the bounty hunter, Jango Fett to the droid foundries on Geonosis. The trade federation is to take delivery of a droid army here and it is clear that Viceroy Gunray is behind the assassination attempt on Senator Amidala." I straighten my posture at his words.
"The Commerce Guilds and the Corporate Alliance have both pledged their armies to Count Dooku and are forming a— wait, wait." Master Kenobi pulls out his lightsaber and ignites it, dodging blaster shots. A separatist moves onto the holograph, it's the one firing.
There's a chance he could be dead by now and Anakin freezes at the sight. Master Windu moves onto the holograph. "Etta, we will deal with Count Dooku. The most important thing for you is to stay where you are. Protect the senator at all costs. That is your first priority." I bow my head to my master. "Understood, Master." I call out and the holograph flickers away.
Anakin is quiet and Padmé turns to us. "They'll never get there in time to save him. They have to come halfway across the galaxy." Padmé says and I take in a breath, contemplating our choices. "Geonosis is less than a parsec away, but we have orders to stay here." I say to Padmé and Anakin scoffs.
"If he's still alive." Anakin states and Padmé looks at us both. "Are you both going to sit here and let him die? He's your friend, your mentor-" She gets cut off by Anakin. "He's like my father!" He states and Padmé quiets. I keep my eyes on Anakin. "But you heard Master Windu, and he gave us strict orders to stay here." I swallow and recall my master's words.
I can't believe I'm doing this. "Actually, he gave me orders to stay here. He didn't say anything about you. And he also said to protect the Senator, which means if she were to go somewhere, we'd have to stay with her." Padmé smirks at my words. "Exactly." Padmé calls out.
"I'm going to help Obi-Wan, which means you have to come along." I move into the copilot seat whilst Anakin takes the pilot seat, as he is the better pilot, and press buttons before we take off. Padmé moves to sit somewhere else and Anakin gives me a relieved look.
"Thank you." He says to me and the craft takes off. I only nod my head and swallow. "I would do the same if it were Master Windu." Speaking of which, I am going to be in so much trouble for disobeying his orders.

The red planet which is Geonosis enters my vision and the craft makes its way through the atmosphere. I spot large columns of steam rising into the air and Padmé starts to speak. "See those columns of steam straight ahead? They're exhaust vents of some type." She states and Anakin and I begin to manoeuvre the ship to pull over beside them.
The steam will keep the ship hidden and we'll be able to get inside through the vents. I push myself to stand. "Look, whatever happens out there, follow my lead." Padmé stats and grabs a jacket and slings her arms inside.
"I'm not interested in getting into a war here. As a member of the senate, maybe I can find a diplomatic solution to this mess." I follow behind her with my arms resting behind my back.
"Should this lead to a battle, you both will follow my every instruction." My gaze is on Anakin as I speak. "Don't worry, I've given up trying to argue with you." He states to me and we walk down the ramp. "As I said before, I am a Knight and you will listen to me, Padawan." My voice is cold and my heart beats quickly.
Anakin's eyes trail over my frame with a smirk on his lips but I tear my eyes away from his face and walk towards the vents. There's a large door connected to one a steam conduct and we walk towards it. It opens and the three of us walk inside.
A long dark corridor greets us and I feel through the Force. My hand rests on my lightsaber as a precaution. The Force shows me what will happen, the creatures that will linger for us and I notice the spot on the floor where we all will stand as they lunge for us.
Anakin walks beside me, standing inches from me and I can feel the magnetic pull tugging me towards him. I ignore it, but my heart aches. I keep my guard up and find the spot on the floor approaching.
Creatures click and clack behind us and I slow my steps. "Wait." I call out softly and they do as I say. I ignite my saber and slash at a creature which lunges for me. I instantly go to protect Padmé whilst Anakin slashes the creatures.
A door opens at the end of the corridor and I rush through it with Padmé. It's a dead end and we're standing on a ledge which retracts. I grip onto the wall but Padmé falls down and onto a conveyor belt. This is a droid factory.
I jump down after her and Anakin calls my name. "Etta!" I don't spare him a glance. I run forward, slashing the creatures with my pink blade and make my way towards Padmé. I duck under some of the devices and run closer to Padmé, calling her name whilst slashing the devices.
She takes my left hand and holds it tightly whilst I hold my saber in my right. "Jump." I call out and jump upwards, I pull her with me before landing and slashing at the machines. I look around for an exit and feel through the Force.
A creature flies over to us and grabs Padmé. I slash it with my saber but it knocks Padmé off balance and shoves her off the conveyor belt.
I rush after her but the item she falls in gets picked up and taken to a fire. I run forward, chasing it, and slash everything with my saber. I shove everything away from me with the Force and jump into a different conveyor, closer to where Padmé is.
I spot the object which contains her in the distance and feel through the Force, trying to stop it, to make it freeze. I feel everything in the room with my mind. My mind is expanding and I try to stop everything.
The devices twitch and stop and I'm overwhelmed with exhaustion. The object containing Padmé shakes and tips over, allowing her to exit it. R2 comes flying over to her and picks her up. I let out an exhale and use the Force to see, all whilst keeping everything frozen.
I can feel the force pulling me and I allow it, it's pulling me to Anakin. Through the Force, I can see him on a different conveyor belt. "Anakin!" I yell out and everything begins to move again. Exhaustion creeps through me and I turn off my saber, clipping it back onto my belt.
Anakin's about to be crushed by an object and I hold it mid air with the Force, allowing him to rush from it. I gasp out a breath and my eyes open. They're blurry and dark spots cover my vision. I rush over to Anakin, almost collapsing with exhaustion.
"Etta!" He yells out and catches me as I fall forward. I'm breathing heavily and shaking. My head rests over his shoulder and I pant. His arms gently hold me and my mind turns dazed. "Get- Padmé...out of.. here." My words are slurred and my body grows heavy as I faint in him arms.
All I can hear is Anakin's panicked yells of my names as I drift into unconsciousness.
