The cold wind penetrates the investigators, "JOHN!" Some of them shouted at the broken lake, tears in their eyes, "I know he was our companion, but we must keep moving. It isn't safe enough to stay here and mourn for him. We have no choice but to keep on our track especially now that the sun has begun to set" Barley said sadly. The others hesitated, but they knew it was better to be safe than sorry.
As the last sunbeams faded away into the horizon and night took over, the explorers turned on their flash lights, the wind making it harder and harder to walk, "Stay on track!" Barley shouted at them, they walked very close together so as not to lose their companions in the blizzard. They continued until at last they saw a faint outline of a big cave, "There! That's the cave!" Barley announced as he lead the way to the cave, his companions on his heels. They reached the cave, and entered. It was easier walking inside. They looked around the cave with their flashlights noticing that the cave was very long. They walked forward observing their environment. As they advanced, they spotted faint lights at the end of the cave and cold water dripping from stalactites. They reached the end of the cave, the multi colored emanating from natural columns. There were strange marks on the walls as if written in an unknown language which they tried to decode, but were unable to. There was a strange floating ball in the middle of the cave, which they looked at with awe. Christine put out her hands hesitantly to touch it. As her fingers came into contact with it, a long ringing sound filled the cave. They covered their ears as the ball dropped out of sight into the earth. Almost immediately a transparent box containing what seemed to be a manuscript appeared from where the ball had been swallowed up. Inside the box they saw a strange curved bone with glowing purple words carved to it, the point of the bone was sharp enough to carve rock with it. When the ringing had finished they observed the materials that were present, "This is it guys, we have found what we came for" Barley announced excitedly. With great precaution, he tried to touch the box and once he touched it an excrutiating pain ran up his arm as he then collapsed, landing with a loud thud, the box seemed to be bound with magic. His companions rapidly tried to bring him round. Laia, the doctor, swiftly woke him up. 'What happened?" Megan asked quite fascinated about the box in which the manuscript and the bone were kept, "If it makes people faint, we might need to keep it in strong material... I have the feeling we brought a metal container in case it was something fragile or dangerous", she murmured to herself.
"Did we bring something to keep it in" she asked the others. "Yes, indeed. I think I have it", David answered as he searched through his bag, "Here" he said after giving it to Megan, "Perfect, this'll do". She thanked him as she took it and cautiously posed the relics gently inside. However, as soon as it was enclosed in the metal endless murmurs began to resonate throughout the cave. The sound started barely audibly, but with every passing minute the voices got louder and louder repeating in an unrecognisable language 'Kūnvier dōånjo plierkeh nidot' .Weirdly Megan was the only one who could hear them. The sound increased continually until she couldnt bare it anymore,. She finally dropped the metal recipient and put her hands to her head as she kneeled down, screaming. The people around her tried to help her out , with alarmed looks on their faces. Megan collapsed, her vision blacking out.
