Butter has been adopted by Lightningsnow and Angelwing! She has been renamed to Pollenkit.

It takes a few days of having to physically pick up Patchkit when she ignores her calls for Harmonyleaf to take her daughter to get checked out by Lilytail. It is revealed that Patchkit is deaf. This will affect hunting and tracking training when she's a young apprentice and may impact social interactions.

After a long talk, consisting of shouting and hissing that causes wide eyed kits to peek over the edge of their nests, Whisperingspirit and Nectarnose have decided to go their separate ways. Nectarnose goes to Harmonyleaf for comfort, and while she gives it, curling up with him in her nest with their kits, he can't help but notice something seems a bit off with her. Maybe all the time she's spending in the nursery with Whisperingspirit has changed her perspective a little bit.

As she listens to Nectarnose insist Whisperingspirit should have paid more attention to him, that it was her fault he went to Harmonyleaf, why would it be Nectarnose's fault she was boring, even at her young age Snailkit feels distaste for her father. As Whisperingspirit silently curls up around her young kits, a false smile plastered on her face, Snailkit's dislike of her father grows. She has -3 relationship with Nectarnose.

Ashkit, Cloverkit and Snailkit developed kittencough. It can be treated using one herb each but success rates vary due to their young age.
(Im stealing kittencough from Clangen, I'm gonna say it's developed in young kits from if their mothers were stressed during birth or pregnancy and with the whole rogues and Nectarnose thing I imagine Whisperingspirit and Harmonyleaf were quite stressed)

Wingwater manages to drag himself out of the medicine den (against Lilytail's wishes) to wander around the territory. On the edge of the borders, he finds a kit whose resemblance to those gone makes his heart ache. This ache increases when she proudly introduces herself as Willow, stating that her friend Wave went to try and hunt. He brings Willow and Wave back to the clan.

Willowkit and Wavepaw have joined the clan. Wavepaw will be mentored by Embereye. She gets a +1 in hunting as that was her mentor's highest stat at time of apprenticeship!

Cricketkit and Fernpaw have been healed!

Lilytail, Sadiesong, Angelwing, Embereye and Moonwhisper have all been healed!

Jadesky, Oakclaw and Wingwater have recovered somewhat. It will take a herb each to heal them. They get 2 energy a moon.

Speckledstar still feels a shadow lingering over him, but as he watches Newtkit and Cricketkit roll around, Sadiesong exasperatedly trying to corral them back into the nursery as Shellkit watches balefully from his spot on the rocks, a warmth washes over him. He may have lost, but he has much to live for. Speckledstar is no longer grieving.
