PART 1 : I KILLED MATTE

Jimin stretched his arms as he woke up from his well rested slumber. It was finally the beginning of his summer vacation, after a series of his long tiring exams . Jimin had several sleepless nights preparing for his exams.
Jimin had a number of plans which he wanted to do during his vacation. The first one was to play with his pet cat matte.

Matte had been the family's pet ever since jimin was four years old. His dad gifted jimin for his fourth birthday. He loved matte so much. The cat would snuggle into his bed all night and lick over his face in the morning to wake him up.

Jimin smiled at the thought . He had ignored matte during his exam days. He wanted to make it up to his cat in the vacation.

However, jimin was not able to find the cat near his bed like he usually did.

Jimin slowly got up from his bed and went to shower, he dressed himself in his pair of casual shorts and a t shirt and went downstairs.

Jimin walked near the kitchen table and found jin sitting having his plate of bread and omelette. He was watching a soccer match intently on his tab.

" Good morning, hyung " , jimin said smiling catching jin's attention.

Jin looked back at him, " Heyy, morning.... So, finally you decided to come out of your room and out of your books ", jin said taking a bite of his bread.

Jimin plopped down on to a chair fetching a bread for himself, " Yeah, finally my exams are over , " Jimin said as he sighed.

Jin nodded his head as he continued to watch the soccer match intently.
Jimin looked around in search of matte, his parents and jungkook.

Jimin looked back at jin, " Hyung, where are the others and matte? "
he asked eyeing jin curiously

" Mom and dad are off to office for an important meeting, they said they won't be back until late tonight. Jungkook and taehyung were in the yard playing the last time i checked on them, as for matte I don't know where he is, didn't see him from the morning " Jin said as he continued to watch the match while chewing on his bread.

Jimin just sighed, "Hyung, don't let kookie play with that weirdo . I will go get kook inside ", he said moving towards the door leaving his half eaten bread.

Jin not minding jimin's words continued to watch the match, "Yess..... " He cheered as South Korea scored a goal.

Jimin walked outside calling out to kookie, " Koo... Where are you baby? ", he said walking into the garden.

Jimin heard some ruffling behind the bush then he heard loud sobs of jungkook which made him alarmed, he quickly went in the direction of the crying sound.

There he saw taehyung putting up ugly mud worms on kookie 's tiny hands, which made the little boy shriek out in fear.

" Shh... Kookie, they are your friends ", Taehyung said creepily placing more worms on to kook's tiny hands while holding his hands tightly.

The little boy desperately tried to get off from his hold, "Hyungie, I am scared, take it off, I need mama.... " He cried out loudly.

Jimin quickly lifted up jungkook dusting those ugly creatures off his little hands, " It's okay... Baby... Hyung is here " , jimin said hugging the crying boy .

Jimin eyed at taehyung angrily who was busy collecting those ugly worms into a glass box  .

Jimin let down kookie, he snatched the box from taehyung and opened the box throwing those worms into the soil.

Taehyung desperately tried to get the box from jimin who held it high from tae's reach.

" They are my friends, please give it back to me " , Tae said as tears rolled down his cheek, he saw those worms wiggling into the soil.

" Stay away from my little brother, you creep. If you make him cry again, I am telling mom, then you will be thrown back into your orphanage ", jimin said angrily. He pushed taehyung with full force, which made the younger boy fall on the ground and his head hit  on a stone making him bleed lightly.

Jimin walked back into the home holding kookie's hand in his. Kook looked back at taehyung who was staring right at jimin.

Taehyung wiped of his tears, his forehead had a wound, he saw his empty glass box which once had many mud worms, his friends, his pet.

That was when, he heard a small meow.

Taehyung turned around to find matte, jimin's cat licking his fingers.

Taehyung smirked, "you are going to pay for what you did ,jimin hyung ", he said with an evil smirk.

Taehyung picked the same stone which hurted him, he raised it high and hit matte many times.

The cat wailed in pain until no sound was heard , it's blood splashed everywhere.

Taehyung looked at the lifeless cat, he took matte's blood in his fingers licking it up.

"I am going to gift this to my kookie", he said smiling evilly.
