ESCAPE

Taehyung heard the sound of heavy breaths, he turned around to find Jungkook on the other side of the room, holding a gun pointing towards him.

Jungkook's hands trembled as he tried to hold the gun towards Taehyung, tears still flowing down his face.

His little body on the whole shivering.

Taehyung's face morphed into disbelief, " What are you trying to do  kookie? " He asked trying to get closer to jungkook.

Jungkook tightened his hold on the gun, as he felt his breathing getting faster, " Don't step closer, I w-will p-pull the t-trigger" He stammered as he tried to stop his hands from shaking.

Taehyung halted on his track, he put his hands up, as if on surrender, " Alright ... I don't know what you are up to... But stop it now " His tone a sense of warning.

" Tell your men to let Sumin go...." Jungkook said staring right into Taehyung's eyes.

Taehyung let out a laugh, " Oh jungkookie.... You are going to kill your hyung just because of some girl.... Huh... Coz of that bitch " He said smiling.

Jungkook clutched his fingers strongly around the heavy gun, " You... Are... Not... My... Hyung " He said as tears poured down his face.

Taehyung's eyes darkened on hearing those words from Jungkook.

" I remember how you killed my family... You psych.... Let me go " Jungkook growled as he let out a sob, missing his family.

None of this would have happened , if his family had been with him.

Taehyung let out a low chuckle, "Yeah you are right... You have been skipping your meds too, seems like you have your memory back "

Jungkook felt frustration raising within him " I am not the one in need of Meds... It's YOU.... YOU CRAZY Bastard " Jungkook growled at him.

Taehyung smirked, " Do you know why I killed them and let you live ?" He asked taking a step closer.

" I will shoot you, if you take a step forward " Jungkook yelled almost pulling the trigger.

" Because they never accepted me as their family.... They never loved me, cared for me... All they showed me was hatred... Why couldn't they love me? Was it so hard....??? " Taehyung said, as a lone tear fell from his eyes rolling down his cheek.

Jungkook looked surprised, Taehyung looked like a little boy who craved for love.

" They deserved to die. " He said as his eyes now showed pure pain and hatred.

"No.... You deserve to die " Jungkook said holding the gun tighter between his fingers as endless tears flowed down his face.

Taehyung sighed, " I let you live... Only because you were the only one who loved me as your brother. Now that I could see... You did that just because you didn't know I was adopted by your parents. Or else you are just like them... Your mom, dad and your brothers. " He said letting out a deep breath.

Jungkook shook his head, " You are a freak "

Taehyung smirked, " Right. I am. Now what are you going to do about it? Kill me? ... Go on " He said stepping closer.

Jungkook pulled the trigger as he shut his eyes tightly.

" Boom " Taehyung yelled laughing out loudly.

Jungkook's eyes widened, as the rifle did not fire out any bullets, he pulled the trigger again and again only to find it empty.

Taehyung came dangerously close to jungkook, which made jungkook tremble.

Jungkook took his last chance as he raised the gun and hit it hard on Taehyung's head.

Taehyung groaned in pain as he clutched his head with his hands, " Fuck " He cursed out as he could see his forehead bleeding .

Jungkook was no where to be seen, he ran away.

" Get that little shit to me " Taehyung growled as he ordered his men.

Jungkook some how found his way out of the mafia base and ran through the woods.

It was dark and hard for him to see. But he ran as fast his legs could carry him. He knew Taehyung would kill him if he get into his hands.

Jungkook gasped loudly, he could see many men running out in search of him with flash lights in their hands.

They also held guns as they searched through every bushes.

Jungkook hid himself behind a tree , his breathing getting louder every minute and his heart thumping loudly against his chest.

Jungkook shut his eyes tightly when he heard the foot steps of some men nearing his direction followed by the bright flash light.

" Get him " One of them shouted.

Jungkook gasped as he grabbed the stones nearby and threw it in the direction of some men nearing.

He then ran away, his adrenaline making him run through the woods as fast as he could.

Jungkook could hear the running sound of men behind him, he could not afford to get caught.

Jungkook soon neared the high way , which had the sign board Road to seoul - 1500 kms.

Jungkook's eyes widened when he found a man pointing a gun towards him, but the other one stopped him, " Boss wants him alive , you idiot " He said.

The men neared him, as jungkook backed away  and fell on the middle of the highway .

Jungkook turned to his right as his eyes widened, when he found a jeep coming at its full speed.

Jungkook shut his eyes tightly expecting pain.

He opened his eyes only to find the jeep had stopped right before him.

He let out a sigh of relief.

A man walked out, he was dressed as an officer.

" Heyy kid.... Are you okay? What are you doing here? " The man asked nearing jungkook, helping him stand on his feet.

Jungkook looked at the man, he must be in his late twenties, a relief washed over him, as he held the officer's hand tightly, " Help me... Please " .

The man looked around to see if anyone was around the boy, but there was no one. Everything appeared normal.

" Alright, get in.... " The man said to jungkook. He could see, the boy was in some danger.

The man opened the passenger seat, as he helped jungkook climb in.

Jungkook was breathing heavily.

The man got into the driver seat, as he put in his jeeps keys and started the jeep.

Jungkook found the name tag on officer's attire which read " Min yoongi " .
