Chapter 25
-Gabriel Di Luca-
"I... I don't want you to follow me in Europe, Gabriel. I need you to stay here."
My eyebrows furrowed and I brought her face closer to mine, looking deeply into those ocean blue eyes, but she shut them close. My silly girl.
"Open your eyes, baby." I sigh, but she stubbornly shook her head.
"Pretty please?"
Still no.
God, those hearts shaped pouty pink lips are tempting me to kiss them right now. What I would give just to have a taste of those lips.
Not right now though.
Patience, Gabriel.
I'll taste those heavenly lips only if she lets me and if she's ready. And, of course, our first kiss must be special and memorable for both of us.
"You really don't want to see me anymore, baby? Shame. I'm quite a sight to be seen."
I immediately grinned when she finally opened those beautiful blue eyes.
"I'm serious, Gaby." She claims sounding really upset.
"Don't frown, baby, it's not a good look on you. I'm pretty serious about what I messaged you too." I replied, softly stroking her soft cheek with my knuckles.
Now it's my turn to frown when Miracle suddenly backs away and shakes her head in disbelief while looking at me, as if wondering whether I'm crazy or not.
Yes, my baby, I'm crazy for you.
"No, you can't! You can't just follow me in which part of Europe they will send me. You can't just throw your life here in the US like that for me. I won't let you."
Oh, so it's about that then.
My beautiful silly girl.
"Yes, I have a life here in America, I also have a life back in Italy, as well as a life there in Russia, but all of them have no true meaning to me because I don't have any fucking purpose in any of them." I softly smiled, pausing, and taking a single step forward while she looked at me in confusion.
"Do you remember back in the charity ball when you told me that it's normal to not yet know what I want with my life, that I'll figure out my own purpose when the time comes?" I asked her, she was obviously quite taken aback that I still remembered what she told me but I do, I really do remember everything from that charity ball.
I remember seeing a beautiful Goddess appearing in front of me, blessing me with her existence.
She nodded her head at my question.
"Well, I think I finally know what I want in my life, I finally figured out my own purpose. In fact, I'm a hundred percent sure of it."
"What is it?" Miracle asked in her soft voice, her eyebrows furrowing.
"You."
Her ocean blue eyes widened in surprise.
"Me?" She points to herself, both confused and flabbergasted.
I smirked to myself and took both her hands, intertwining or fingers together as I stared deeply into her eyes so she could see for herself just how serious I am.
"Yes, you. I finally found my purpose in life and that is by being by your side, being anything you need me, being able to protect you. You're everything to me, Miracle Astor. If only you could see yourself the way I see you."
