'Don't have to be a part of it?' She thought as he kept looking at her the same way.

'He really doesn't want me here'

She looked back to her camera and packed up her sketchpad and pencil. He looked confused as his food came about.

"Why?" Was all she managed to get out, focusing back to her camera.

"Well its a bit on the late side, planning wise. Not to mention with everything that happened to you and your family, and even us...." he said than stopped. I looked up at him, he stammered. He reallyd didn't want to talk about it.

She could take a hint. "Talk to your fiance, she asked me," she said. Getting up she walked off to go explore.

"Char..." He started to say.

"Its Charlotte. I haven't gone by Char in a very long time," She corrected him. Going throughout the markets, she adored the lifestyle, the architecture, everything.

Looking behind her, she noticed he wasn't nearby or at least not behind her.

He had walked down another street. He always called her Char, it was his little thing. But after what happened, maybe it wasn't best. They hadn't talked to each other at all in 5 years, he was marrying her stepsister, and he couldn't shake the feeling that she was hiding something.

He had to drop it, at least for now, he had plans he needed to keep up with. Bachelor party, swim meets, fitting, and then dinner at home with his parents.

They where finally in, he was staying with his coach for the time being, her face and looks could confuse people that she was his mother, but she definatly didn't act like it.  Walking into the room he had, he poured himself a drink and ran a hand through his hair again.

He hadn't gotten much sleep throughout the last few days, his mind trailing to that dream, or a nightmare. It seemed like it switched from one person to the other, when it first started happening, he was worried his body was reacting to both girls, that was something he really didn't want.

The party went well, as did the meets. Macy came up to him and pretty much put herself on full display that she was his fiance. He hated it, and minus the Olympics, he never really liked the spotlight, can't say the same for her.

His fitting, however, had to be moved, something about Macy worrying about her dress being form fitting and it not being ok. So she took his appointment, which gave him and his coach enough time to prepair for dinner.

"How ya doing champ?" she asked trying to get rid of the silence.

"Ok I suppose."

She looked his way as he set up the table, her eyes watching him closly.

"Heard you ran into an old friend," She smirked, turning around working on something. He felt his shoulders slump a bit, this was the last thing he wanted to talk about.

Before she could press him even more on the subject, a knock came at the door. Opening it, he found the gentle embrace of his mother and a proud look of his father.

"Oh Jason, look at you, its been practically ages," Mrs. Hollow said. His mother was always like this, acting like she hasn't seen him in years when it was just a month back. Her curly dark brown hair was pinned back and her green eyes just watched him in awe.

His father stepped in and said hello to his coach, knowing how long his wife took when it came to greeting people she knew. Shutting the door, the 4 of them sat down for dinner, talking and laughing.
