The Garage.
It was a daunting place. Filled to the brim with only god knows what. Doors that haven't been opened in years. The owners of it being three major procrastinators, who are now forced to open the doors. But are the doors open yet, of course not.
"Well..." Rory prompted as she, Lorelai, and Cassie stared at the garage doors.
"I'd say three years," Lorelai guessed.
Cassie shook her head, "I'm thinking four."
"What? It has not been four years since we've stepped foot inside our own garage."
Rory let out a sigh, agreeing more with her sister than her mom. "It was when we got the jeep."
"That wasn't..." Lorelai paused, doing the math in her head. "Yes, it was," she realized.
"And even then, I think we only got as far as opening the door before something flew out and scared you," Rory smiled at Lorelai.
Lorelai shook her head, "Yes, it scared me while you too stood by calmly like Dr. Dolittle chatting with the bat."
"It was a bat, wasn't it?"
Chills ran down Cassie's spine as she remembered the jumpscare from that day, "Definitely a bat."
Lorelai nodded before her attention went back to the doors of the garage. "So, uh, what do we do about the bat cave?"
"Well," Rory clapped her hands together, "we did promise Lane that her band could rehearse here."
"Yes, we did."
Cassie sighed as they all took a step closer to the garage, "And they might actually need to get inside to rehearse," Cassie unfortunately agreed.
"So I guess we're going in," Lorelai spoke hesitantly.
"I guess we are."
Cassie stepped back as Lorelai looked over at Rory, "Okay, you open the door."
"Why me?" Rory gasped.
"You're standing closest to it," Cassie pointed out as she took another step back. Cassie was absolutely not going to be the sacrifice to the bats that lived in their garage. Death via bats was not on her list.
Lorelai nodded, "She's right."
"No. You're the mom, you do it."
The Gilmore Girls didn't realize it yet but an unsuspecting victim was walking right up to them. A solution to most of their garage related problems.
